We always eat here when we are in the Chambersburg area. The owner and his entire staff are wonderful. He makes sure that everything is "Just Right" and it is. The food is all freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The Seafood Lasagna is to die for and the meatballs are beyond wonderful. I am hungry just thinking about it. If... More

I've been here three times since May 2016 and had well prepared simple Italian fare. Salads are fresh , have excellent mozzarella with good vinaigrette . Calzones crisp, hot and filled with better cheeses than other local places. Topping it all off : ice cold Peroni on tap. Almost like being in Rome.

My wife and I were in a party of 8 for dinner tonight. I asked for a sample of the meat sauce so I could decide if I would like the Pasta with meat sauce. The waiter brought me a sample of the marinara sauce, so I told him that I asked for a taste of the meat sauce and... More

Not bad all things considered. My server was new and while ok really didn't know much do I just tried some things. The house wine was fine and inexpensive. The soup was ok but lacked content, good taste but mostly broth. Good bread. Had the meatball parm sub, tasty and well prepared. Will probably try again if I'm in the... More

My first trip to Marios... decided on take-out cheesesteaks. They were very good - not the best in the area but no major complaints either except they were a little skimpy on the filling... but then a lot of Italian places in the area have gotten skimpy on the ingredients... pretty classic - raise prices and offer less - so... Always satisfying. Great soups and appetizers as well as generous and flavorgul entrees. Especially enjoy the veal dishes....always tender.

We are from Maryland area originally and loved the crab soup here...the best we have ever had and the bread is excellent. We also found the food to be good and fresh thus far in all areas that we have tried. Loved their pizza and salads too.

Stopped for dinner en route from Florida. Pizza had very hard crust, cheese was not great but vegetables were fresh. Decor and atmosphere are cozy and were a pleasant change from all the big chains. Prices are a bit on the high side for a small family-run establishment.

Prices are reasonable, food is excellent. Service is so-so, but meals always arrive quickly. Had to learn to order fries "with the meal" or they arrive as an appetizer.
