The General Store, thee only retail establishment in this small village , is indeed a general store. It includes a post office, gift shop, package food to go and a deli counter! Loved the Pastrami Short Ribs! And the coffee and Choco Chip Muffin was delicious too. And we took food home with us too.

When you live in and around Carversville you go to the General for everything including homemade carrot cake or a deli sandwich or cup of soup or just to meet a friend or hang out. A reminder of the days before strip Malls and freeways or social media in a digital world that loses touch with real people!

This is a country store at its best, with interesting little knick knack-ish possibilities to buy, deli items that are great to eat, especially when they are made in front of you, and a supply of general food items, ala a small food store. The staff make it most memorable, however, because they are quite special and help life your... More

This is a gourmet general store/sandwich store. We got fantastic chicken salad and reubens for a perfect picnic. You can eat on premises if you like.

We stopped in today to look for food for dinner. We were able to find a few pre made salads that looked very good. There was also a carrot cake that looked delicious. We looked for other prepared foods and the glass cases were empty. Overall it was a disappointing experience. We left empty handed.

The owner is a master chef. And opened this location because it is in his Comunity. His neighbors and visitors have a very special place.

I have been several times to purchase baked goods and the popular salmon but found pricing to be on the high side. Food to go from the case doesn't always look appealing or fresh enough to purchase. I bought a short rib pastrami Cuban sandwich last week and wasn't impressed. I was one of two persons waiting for their order... More

Delightful place to pick up lunch as you tour the glory of Autumn color of Bucks County! Their sandwiches are premium in every way; ingredients and combinations, great quality cheeses and a wide assortment of ready-to-go foods that will make dinner like having Max Hansen catering at home!

Have stoped here several times for a quick lunch en route to a client and it is just as other reviewers mention. Very quaint. Nice menu of gourmet sandwiches, good-looking baked goods and lots of delicious beverages. It truly is a hidden gem!

While out exploring beautiful Bucks County, PA we stopped at the Carversville General Store and were pleasantly surprised by the gourmet food and unique items offered! Upscale, but not pretentious. The store has gift items and even a post office, and some gourmet food offerings. They have a small eating area, but you can take the food to go and... More
