We had a great meal. Veal Marsala and eggplant rolotini were good. Our server was very attentive and not only was he patient with us but once we left to head toward his next suggested place for a night cap...he chased us down to bring us the mobile phone left behind!!!!! Thank you

A short walk from Carlisle House B&B we found Piatto on a side street lined with small specialty shops. The restaurant did not disappoint. The calamari starter rivaled any we have had in our New York City neighborhood. The eggplant recommended in another review was much to my liking. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

We had dinner reservations at 7:30 on a Saturday, but ended up almost 30 minutes late. The host was very accommodating and seated us right away. Our server was very attentive and visited our table several times throughout our meal to refill drinks and check on us. We ordered 4 different meals and we were all very satisfied with our... More

Went for an early Valentine's dinner. Got the hummus of the day with the bread and it was fantastic. (Bread isn't complementary, but it is not expensive) My husband had pork and I had cavatelli. I recommend the larger pasta dish since it is not very big. We also had dessert - I had Bonet, which is a warm chocolate... More

Piatto dinner selections were adequate, but overpriced for what was served. Each Entrée was served without any accompanying vegetables or potatoes. Bread was extra, spreads for the bread were also extra and each vegetable was extra. All in all, meal was average, but the prices were well above average.

We were expecting an upscale dining experience but were somewhat disappointed. Nice atmosphere, service started off good, but server never asked how our food was, which is such a basic part of being a server. Cocktails, although good, were tiny and way overpriced. Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Comment most heard at our table was food... More

Okay, so I stole the title. It applies to Piatto now, though. It definitely is winning the race as it has evolved into a first-class Italian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere to boot. Highly recommended.

Nice waitstaff and decent food. OK wine list. Nice patio dining when the weather is good. Relaxing interior.

Main course was pleasantly delightful but portions were very small for the cost. Bread was extra and the dipping sauce was an over embellished can of tomato paste. ... very bland in flavor!! Most likely won't go back; we will go to carrabas

The management staff assisted greatly with our visit. They made recommendations over the phone for their desserts, as well as other local venues in downtown Carlisle, before I even came to the restaurant. They also assisted with placement of our party by the cozy and beautiful fireplace. The lighting and the environment gave a great ambiance to the setting. The... More
