Wonderful selection of Belgian beers, and delicious food. I especially recommend the mussels and frites. If you're in Carlisle looking for casual dining, this is a terrific spot!

Limited menu but what they have is great. Their frittes are to die for. Stoemp is authentic, lamb burgers rock. We have been to Denmark and appreciate great danish pub food.

I describe this as a "dining experience" because the ambiance is a big part of the appeal of Cafe Bruges - small and intimate, lots of wood, a nice place to bring a date. The food is above average, and there's plenty of it. The last time I was there, I ordered the soup and half sandwich combo and had... More

Early dinner with family. The fries and various sauces are great. The rest was average to include steaks (dry), burgers and service. Will try a different restaurant next time we meet in Carlisle.

This is a fun place with a good selection of fun beers. The fries are ridiculous! The food overall is high quality prepared by people that obviously care. Very friendly place and a good place to spend time just hanging out.

This is not a fancy place, but it seems we go here for special occasions. Mussels & Frites are always ALWAYS great. No matter which preparation you get. The Steak Frites is wonderful (The peas are fantastic, high praise for the lowly pea) Terrific beers and wonderful servers. I love this place!

We’d have liked Café Bruges better if our expectations for it had not been so high. If we could give it three and a half stars we would, it is above average, but short of the gem some reviews describe. >>The mussels were well trimmed and the serving was generous, but they tasted as if they had had a long... We met friends here for an early dinner after eating lunch here last year. First of all, I must mention that I had a Lambic Rotator on draft which was very good...tasted like a sweet peach. I had Carbonade Flamande, a very tasty beef stew, although a small portion. My partner had Stoemp Saucisse, which he liked, but again a small... More

I arrived to meet friends about 11:30. The place was quiet. By 1 PM most tables were full with diners. Must study this room- the sound was friendly and comfortable. We sat at the wonderful brown bar enjoying Belgian beer mussels and fries. Service was very good.

Thank Courthouse067
