We met friends here for an early dinner after eating lunch here last year. First of all, I must mention that I had a Lambic Rotator on draft which was very good...tasted like a sweet peach. I had Carbonade Flamande, a very tasty beef stew, although a small portion. My partner had Stoemp Saucisse, which he liked, but again a small... More

I arrived to meet friends about 11:30. The place was quiet. By 1 PM most tables were full with diners. Must study this room- the sound was friendly and comfortable. We sat at the wonderful brown bar enjoying Belgian beer mussels and fries. Service was very good.

The cafe has great burgers, steak, muscles, fries and beer. They make there own sauces for the fries which is cool. Very friendly staff and warm inviting space.

This is a nice restaurant in downtown Carlisle. The food is good and I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful with drink and food choices. The location is good for any other downtown activities like the nearby theatre.

Arrived in Carlisle very late and my family had been here prior so this was a natural choice for not having enough time to think about where to go. The burgers and the desert were excellent. Will definitely be back.

The food at Café Bruges is excellent. We had the sausage platter and the NY Strip. The steak was so tender that I could cut it with a butter knife. The sausages were very fresh and flavorful. The beer list is very extensive too. The waitress was very knowledgeable of what beers to recommend. The menu is very limited and... More

Noisy, greasy small broken French fries, a waitress that never seemed to care. There seems to be a lot of hype in Carlisle about this place. We will never go back .

You can't beat the selection of Belgian beers here; it's simply outstanding. The food is good too, especially the mussels and the pommes frites (order the mayo with them for an authentic Belgian experience). The lamb burger is usually outstanding as well. A fun place to go for a casual evening out.

Unpon entering, Amanda's attitude was as if our party of five were an inconvenience for her. The orders took nearly twenty minutes to be served despite the fact that only ten others were dining and most had already been served. Burger was thicker than a hockey puck, yet far smaller in diameter with a handful of chips. Chicken sandwich just... More

Expensive, unappealing food. Incredibly, unreasonably expensive beer. Terribly loud and crowded tables. I can see no reason to return.
