Good food and selection of beer; however, the ambience is very lacking. The tables are so close together, not able to have a private conversation. It's too bad because the selection of Belgian beer is so good, you just can't enjoy due to lack of ambience.

We live thirty minutes away and drive here for the fries. They aren't healthy, but they taste out of this world. If you're looking for some place to eat around Carlisle, definitely give this a try. Like trying foreign beers? A great place too.

The beer list is great, and I love going there any chance I get. Wish the food menu was a little bigger now, all these years in, and that they'd mix it up more often.

Met here for a dinner meeting and it was great. Ordered steak frites and the meal was delicious. Very busy.

We traveled to Bruges this past spring, so when we found this pub as we were spending a night in the area, we were excited to try it. Each of us in our party of six raved about the flavors of our meals. The food was fresh and well prepared. If we ever need to pass this way again, I... More

We happened along this restaurant and were so pleasantly surprised. It was outstanding! The food was delicious! The frites were amazing, the dipping sauces were even better!!!! The croquets were delicious, the soup was delicious. My husband had the crab cakes and my son had a hamburger and they both fully enjoyed it. I also enjoyed some Belgium castle castle... More

You can't come to this restaurant without ordering the frites, they are out of this world and probably really bad for you since they taste so good. The ambience is a bit strange since it is a very open and noisy almost a cafeteria feel, but the beers, while expensive, are good and there are many choices. We love beets,... More

So cold the food couldn't stay warm. Their frites are great! I had the green bean, potato, bacon salad salad and we shared the so so meat sandwich...can't even remember what kind! The green beans were hardly cooked and in edible, so they didn't charge us for them.

We were not aware of Cafe Bruges serving brunch until a friend suggested we try the food. We both had the waffle with ham, poached egg with the lemon sauce. It had great flavor although the Belgium Waffle was slightly under cooked. To be fair we were the first to order today. The irons may not have been as hot... More

Cafe Bruges offers great food for a reasonable price in a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend the lamb burger with frites (get the spicy mayo!). Our server, Anna, was extremely friendly and helpful. The Belgian beer selection - both bottled and draft - was as expansive as you would expect for this type of place.
