Beautiful facility, exceptional service, good beer and Bloody Mary. We have been here several times because it is centrally located for our families. Our meals are always average. Two things that bother us the most; the pizza is always burnt - not just your average...toasting from the pizza oven but char-burnt, so much so that you cannot eat the crust - there must be a way to fix that; and please, please serve different French fries. The fries are teeny, tiny little shards that are impossible to dip - it is almost necessary to eat them with a spoon. Until they start serving different fries, ask for a different side.More
This is an absolutely gorgeous spot that is a must do! We went during their Octoberfest, so they had some great flights and food options that were seasonal as well as a food truck, live music and outdoor activities. I shared a flight and totally...recommend the Blame it on the Boogey one, it was my favorite! We also did a pizza, which was a good size for two to split and the giant pretzel, which was delicious. It was pretty busy when we were there, but the staff kept up with us. The area is beautiful and there’s seating outside for drinking and talking and enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely recommend!More
A neighbor of ours mentioned this place so we decided to stop on our way to Edinboro, SO glad we did! Beautiful Place! We sat at a table outside enjoying our delicious beers and food. We had the skillet roasted Brussel Sprouts, Oh SO Good!,...my sister had the pancakes with local maple syrup and I had the garden omelet along with their IPA and Maple Porter, we even took some with! A definite stop while in the area!More
This place has outstanding finger foods, beverages and scenery inside and outside. Priced reasonably and fair amount for the price. Waiters & waitresses are very informative and polite. Just make sure you have reservations on weekends & during supper times, since they get extremely busy.
Driving home from Erie with my husband, we wanted to visit my old stopping grounds when I went to college at the BORO, and Cambridge Springs, Riverside Inn was a place to stay during homecoming. Oh my goodness, this place exceeds expectations and we were...so delighted with our meal, the drinks, and atmosphere. We will be back again for sure. So happy people are investing and creating some beautiful spaces during a difficult time.More
Unfortunately we did not get a chance to taste the food or beer. It appears when they are busy, being rude and turning away customers is acceptable. When we visited we were told the outside tables were first come, first served then we were told...they were for drinks only and then finally told they were reserved for guests inside that wanted to move outside. When pressed for an exact answer we were finally told the kitchen was at max capacity and could not handle an order from a table of six. I guess the four other couples after us that did get seated didn’t count. They didn’t have reservations either as we all were coming from the same prior event. I’d rather not eat at an establishment that appears to make up random rules to prevent customers for coming in after 8pm. Rather than turn us away you should have counted your blessing that customers are visiting the establishment. Thanks but no thanks.More
I stopped for lunch yesterday while traveling from Edinboro to Pittsburgh. This place is a real find. So many places today are just OK to grab a bite and be on your way, without being out of the ordinary. If you haven’t tried the Riverside...Brewery you are in for a treat. It is located where the much loved Riverside Hotel was before it burned to the ground in a devastating fire. As tragic as that was, I have to say that these people did a fantastic job putting this place together. The structure is built from an old Pennsylvania Barn that was carefully disassembled and relocated here. The attention to detail here amazed me. I noticed right away as I was seated and presented with a nice fabric napkin with my utensils wrapped inside. Who goes to that trouble at a Restaurant in a barn? The server was friendly and quick, that in itself these days is quite a rarity. I ordered a sandwich and wanted a craft beer, but I started my journey tired and I was afraid the beer would make me more so. Iced Tea was the drink of the day and refilled before I reached bottom. My sandwich, the Cuban Reuben was delicious as were the Sweet Potato Fries with a Maple Sauce for dipping. It was a little sweet for me but delicious, none the less. The serving ware was another thing that caught my attention. My sandwich was served on beautiful but homey stoneware. It was another point that made me feel that this was not your typical boring chain restaurant. I was able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon. As I left I thought, “I am so glad that I stopped”, and although the place is rustic, it is very well thought out. The grounds are beautiful. I look forward to my next trip in the fall when I will definitely return. If you are looking for a place that is casual but special, try Riverside Brewery, you won’t be disappointed.More
The loss of the old Riverside was heartbreaking but the spirit of the place lives on. The new Riverside Brewery has managed to capture the special essence of this spot. Truly worthy of the name. The Riverside lives!
Atmosphere was wonderful! Beer was great! Food was great!! A unique gem!!! The outdoor bar and atmosphere are wonderful! Bands are great! Because decor!
Riverside Brewing Company is housed in a rustic barn from the 1800’s that has been deconstructed, and reconstructed - superbly may I add. Such a beautiful outdoor area and round bar with wonderful, friendly service. Super dog friendly 🐶. We did not have dinner, but...there certainly was a waiting list for seating. Live music on the Saturday we visited indoors this time (too chilly outside). Nice outdoor fire pit and lots of picnic tables. There is a big sign right off the road so you cannot miss the turn in, into their parking lot. Right on the river as the name suggests. We enjoyed Three Blonds, 5.8% 🍺 served up chilled in glass mason jar country style mugs.More
Amazing food, good sized portions and priced reasonably. Great atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Beer, spirits and wine from local places.
Ordered the Maple Bacon Burger and WOW! Wonderful! The fries were terrific!!!! Wait staff was friendly and prompt in serving us, making sure that our meal met expectations. We were a table of six and everyone was happy with the meal. Their kids menu has...a great selection for the younger dinners as well.More
We arrived earlier than our reservation time, but were seated within 5 minutes. We were first seated in a very busy spot but t our waitress moved us to a much quieter area when we asked, even though she wasn't the waitress who served in...that area. Our new waitress was very helpful in answering questions about our food choices and her recommendations on what was good. Our food and drinks arrived quickly after placing our orders and was very tasty. We both loved the sweet potatoe fries and especially liked the maple dipping sauce that came with them. Portions were very generous and the food was hot and delicious.Wetried a couple of different beers and felt both were very good. Overall, it is a great atmosphere with excellent service, food and drinks. We will definitely go back to try some of the other menu items and beers.More
We first came out on a date night about two weeks ago (and have come out again with the rest of the family)and were very impressed with the new place! The design and ambiance are great and the food is fantastic! We ordered the brussels...sprouts which are SO far beyond your mother’s boiled, buttered brussels... possibly the best brussels I’ve ever had! I ordered the crispy skinned salmon one time and the Cajun shrimp and grits and both were delicious!! The ONLY criticism I had from our visit was the asparagus... some may like grilled asparagus, but in my opinion, it tends to make it dry and woody. Otherwise, even their pie in a jar and especially their maple milkshake were fantastic!! Can’t wait to go back again! Thank you!!More
