Upon entering the premises for the first time as I was new to the area moved from NJ, the most cordial server, Brip, greeted with a smile, warm welcome, and noted how she loved the sweater I was wearing. Her service was quick with enthusiasm. The taste of the food was excellent! The Chorizo Poblano Corn Chowder soup was fantastic - hearty and abundant!! My pulled pork sandwich with fries were tasty. The flight of Beer was indeed a joy to indulge in as I was able to choose from their list. Hope to visit again and have the same or even better experience!

The food and beer were great. Four, not five stars were given because we were avoided by the seater/greeter upon arrival and stood there a good 5 minutes before anyone came over to put us at our table. Our waitress was good, but it took her awhile to warm up to us, as she was unable to answer questions about flights of beer and didn’t tell us what was unavailable until it was chosen and she came back saying it was out/or you can’t try cider.

Riverside Brewing Company is housed in a rustic barn from the 1800’s that has been deconstructed, and reconstructed - superbly may I add. Such a beautiful outdoor area and round bar with wonderful, friendly service. Super dog friendly 🐶. We did not have dinner, but there certainly was a waiting list for seating. Live music on the Saturday we visited indoors this time (too chilly outside). Nice outdoor fire pit and lots of picnic tables. There is a big sign right off the road so you cannot miss the turn in, into their parking lot. Right on the river as the name suggests. We enjoyed Three Blonds, 5.8% 🍺 served up chilled in glass mason jar country style mugs.

We arrived about 1 pm on Sunday. There was a buffet that was sadly depleted with cold pizza leftover and some hot dishes for mostly breakfast fare. The regular menu was very limited! We opted for their house chili and spinach salad. Both entrees were good- especially the salad with apples and walnuts but they could have cut long stems off of the spinach. The chili was average- spicy, too heavy on beans and not served exceptionally hot. Good Bloody Mary served in the wrong glass. We asked for bread; were told they have none to serve. Got oyster crackers instead. Who doesn’t have bread? This restaurant never does. The venue is beautiful and they do not crowd tables together. We go for the lovely porch and summer outdoor dining but they are missing the boat with the food options. If you are not too hungry and have money to spend, try it for the setting. We think it is too expensive for the quality of food.

Worst server/waiter ever in my life and unfortunately will impact my return. . And this used to be one of my favorite places ever. Felt very rushed from the beginning, server was confrontational, told my party, “I warned you”, after we just requested our meal come out at the same time as our friends; who actually finished their meal before ours was presented; waiter was belligerent, confrontational, actually got chest to chest with my husband and told us we were shut off after 1 drink for questioning him. Manager tried to make it right but damage was done. Rudest behavior ever experienced.

Stopped for dinner on way back from theater. Had 2 beers, a salad, and a steak sandwich. Steak sandwich was tough, fatty, and chewy. Fries were not crispy and oily. Strawberry salad was drenched in dressing, soggy nuts, and strawberries were not fresh. A good waste of $50, continuing RBC’s hit and miss quality.

We often enjoy this charming spot. It’s a wonderful barn made into a spacious restaurant and pub. On our most recent visit, however, we were disappointed. The menu has changed and not for the better. I had the Lasagna Pasta. It bore no resemblance to lasagna. There was no creamy, cheesy layer. In fact there were NO layers. It was just a bowl of pasta with meat sauce. The sauce was quite good. The serving size was oddly huge. It was an immense bowl with what seemed to be 3 or 4 generous servings. And with it came…nothing at all! Not a bit of salad, not a scrap of bread, just nothing. Maybe this item was meant to be ordered with a salad (additional cost) and shared by several people. I’m pleased to report that the delicious maple old fashioned was unchanged.

Not a way to keep customers. We wanted to dine at Riverside for dinner this evening. We checked their website to insure they would be open, before making a 45 minute drive to get to the restaurant. The hours posted for Sunday showed they were open until 8 pm. However, when we arrived a little before 7, we found the door locked. We could see people out on the patio and inside the restaurant. There were no signs on the door nor windows informing they were closed nor why. I called on the cell phone to ask if they were open and was told no that they decided to close early. This is not an inexpensive dining option but thought it was worth the time and expense to visit, but not any more. You have lost our business.

This place has outstanding finger foods, beverages and scenery inside and outside. Priced reasonably and fair amount for the price. Waiters & waitresses are very informative and polite. Just make sure you have reservations on weekends & during supper times, since they get extremely busy.

Unfortunately we did not get a chance to taste the food or beer. It appears when they are busy, being rude and turning away customers is acceptable. When we visited we were told the outside tables were first come, first served then we were told they were for drinks only and then finally told they were reserved for guests inside that wanted to move outside. When pressed for an exact answer we were finally told the kitchen was at max capacity and could not handle an order from a table of six. I guess the four other couples after us that did get seated didn’t count. They didn’t have reservations either as we all were coming from the same prior event. I’d rather not eat at an establishment that appears to make up random rules to prevent customers for coming in after 8pm. Rather than turn us away you should have counted your blessing that customers are visiting the establishment. Thanks but no thanks.

The building is part of a barn that was moved here after a fire destroyed the Riverside Inn on this property years ago. Most every food here has a hint of maple syrup in it. The ambiance is great! Service was excellent, and the employees were very friendly.

I stopped for lunch yesterday while traveling from Edinboro to Pittsburgh. This place is a real find. So many places today are just OK to grab a bite and be on your way, without being out of the ordinary. If you haven’t tried the Riverside Brewery you are in for a treat. It is located where the much loved Riverside Hotel was before it burned to the ground in a devastating fire. As tragic as that was, I have to say that these people did a fantastic job putting this place together. The structure is built from an old Pennsylvania Barn that was carefully disassembled and relocated here. The attention to detail here amazed me. I noticed right away as I was seated and presented with a nice fabric napkin with my utensils wrapped inside. Who goes to that trouble at a Restaurant in a barn? The server was friendly and quick, that in itself these days is quite a rarity. I ordered a sandwich and wanted a craft beer, but I started my journey tired and I was afraid the beer would make me more so. Iced Tea was the drink of the day and refilled before I reached bottom. My sandwich, the Cuban Reuben was delicious as were the Sweet Potato Fries with a Maple Sauce for dipping. It was a little sweet for me but delicious, none the less. The serving ware was another thing that caught my attention. My sandwich was served on beautiful but homey stoneware. It was another point that made me feel that this was not your typical boring chain restaurant. I was able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon. As I left I thought, “I am so glad that I stopped”, and although the place is rustic, it is very well thought out. The grounds are beautiful. I look forward to my next trip in the fall when I will definitely return. If you are looking for a place that is casual but special, try Riverside Brewery, you won’t be disappointed.

Destination place, great food and beers. Fair prices. Stopped yesterday for a glass of beer. Sat outside in close proximity to the building. At the table beside me sat three young ladies. One with a dog in her lap with its head hanging over the table. At another nearby table sat four people with three dogs. The server walked by and one of the dogs charged her barking wildly-scared her half to death. Luckily the owner had the dog on a leash. This "dog thing" has gotten out of hand. Airplanes is bad enough but in a restaurant where food is served is over the top. Until I hear that RBC has adopted a reasonable dog policy I won't return.

We arrived earlier than our reservation time, but were seated within 5 minutes. We were first seated in a very busy spot but t our waitress moved us to a much quieter area when we asked, even though she wasn't the waitress who served in that area. Our new waitress was very helpful in answering questions about our food choices and her recommendations on what was good. Our food and drinks arrived quickly after placing our orders and was very tasty. We both loved the sweet potatoe fries and especially liked the maple dipping sauce that came with them. Portions were very generous and the food was hot and delicious.Wetried a couple of different beers and felt both were very good. Overall, it is a great atmosphere with excellent service, food and drinks. We will definitely go back to try some of the other menu items and beers.

This is an absolutely gorgeous spot that is a must do! We went during their Octoberfest, so they had some great flights and food options that were seasonal as well as a food truck, live music and outdoor activities. I shared a flight and totally recommend the Blame it on the Boogey one, it was my favorite! We also did a pizza, which was a good size for two to split and the giant pretzel, which was delicious. It was pretty busy when we were there, but the staff kept up with us. The area is beautiful and there’s seating outside for drinking and talking and enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
