We just had another fabulous meal at this lovely spot. The grounds are lush, the creek burbles, it’s so pleasant. As always, the food was wonderful. I ordered the lasagna. It’s meaty and delicious. The portion is large so I took a lot home. I...wanted to save room for their crème brûlée. It’s perfect with a crunchy sweet maple topping and blueberries. The homemade Riverside IPA is a great choice. Do not miss this charming place.More

The building is part of a barn that was moved here after a fire destroyed the Riverside Inn on this property years ago. Most every food here has a hint of maple syrup in it. The ambiance is great! Service was excellent, and the employees...were very friendly.More

Wonderful restaurant with lots of choices and a great atmosphere. I had the salmon, delicious as were the cheese grits (I'm from the south)! My husband had the lasagne it was great too. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the...food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.More

Not a way to keep customers. We wanted to dine at Riverside for dinner this evening. We checked their website to insure they would be open, before making a 45 minute drive to get to the restaurant. The hours posted for Sunday showed they were...open until 8 pm. However, when we arrived a little before 7, we found the door locked. We could see people out on the patio and inside the restaurant. There were no signs on the door nor windows informing they were closed nor why. I called on the cell phone to ask if they were open and was told no that they decided to close early. This is not an inexpensive dining option but thought it was worth the time and expense to visit, but not any more. You have lost our business.More

Saw that Riverside was included in Pgh Mag article on foodie roadtrips. My wife and I took the drive from the south hills on Saturday and were not disappointed!! Great selection of beers (not just all IPA’s like some breweries), the mushroom Brie pizza was...out of this world good, and the ambiance of the interior, porch and grounds was so pretty and peaceful. We will definitely return!More

We just had another fabulous meal here. The lasagna is new on the menu and is wonderful. Layers of delicate pasta and cheese are covered with a delicious and meaty sauce. Very generous portion. My partner had the always-excellent burger, fries and maple ketchup. It’s...all so yummy and served outside or in. Nice beer and wine choices. I was sorry I didn’t have room for the excellent crème brûlée. Addison, our waitress, was efficient and really pleasant. It’s a great place.More

Upon entering the premises for the first time as I was new to the area moved from NJ, the most cordial server, Brip, greeted with a smile, warm welcome, and noted how she loved the sweater I was wearing. Her service was quick with enthusiasm....The taste of the food was excellent! The Chorizo Poblano Corn Chowder soup was fantastic - hearty and abundant!! My pulled pork sandwich with fries were tasty. The flight of Beer was indeed a joy to indulge in as I was able to choose from their list. Hope to visit again and have the same or even better experience!More

Had the most wonderful meal. Salmon, rice pilaf and butternut squash purée. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The salmon was perfectly roasted and seasoned. The pilaf flavorful and plentiful. The squash was simply wont. Highly recommend.

First of all the atmosphere in this place is amazing, so rustic and warm! (Even the bathroom's atmosphere is great,)The service is great! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. And the food is fabulous! I got the tacos from the appetizer section of the menu...with shrimp and they were delicious! The Pineapple mango salsa on them is so good. My husband got the Cuban Reuben sandwich and whoa...it's big and he absolutely loved it! If you are in the area, this place is a must try!!More

We dined on the patio for lunch and found both the food and atmosphere excellent. We splurged and had the nachos and then ordered salads. All the food was delicious. I found it especially interesting to see how the chef used their local maple syrup...in the recipes. I only wish I could had tried the brews but health reasons stopped me, but I am sure they are great.More

The food and beer were great. Four, not five stars were given because we were avoided by the seater/greeter upon arrival and stood there a good 5 minutes before anyone came over to put us at our table. Our waitress was good, but it took...her awhile to warm up to us, as she was unable to answer questions about flights of beer and didn’t tell us what was unavailable until it was chosen and she came back saying it was out/or you can’t try cider.More

Beautiful facility, exceptional service, good beer and Bloody Mary. We have been here several times because it is centrally located for our families. Our meals are always average. Two things that bother us the most; the pizza is always burnt - not just your average...toasting from the pizza oven but char-burnt, so much so that you cannot eat the crust - there must be a way to fix that; and please, please serve different French fries. The fries are teeny, tiny little shards that are impossible to dip - it is almost necessary to eat them with a spoon. Until they start serving different fries, ask for a different side.More

This is an absolutely gorgeous spot that is a must do! We went during their Octoberfest, so they had some great flights and food options that were seasonal as well as a food truck, live music and outdoor activities. I shared a flight and totally...recommend the Blame it on the Boogey one, it was my favorite! We also did a pizza, which was a good size for two to split and the giant pretzel, which was delicious. It was pretty busy when we were there, but the staff kept up with us. The area is beautiful and there’s seating outside for drinking and talking and enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely recommend!More

A neighbor of ours mentioned this place so we decided to stop on our way to Edinboro, SO glad we did! Beautiful Place! We sat at a table outside enjoying our delicious beers and food. We had the skillet roasted Brussel Sprouts, Oh SO Good!,...my sister had the pancakes with local maple syrup and I had the garden omelet along with their IPA and Maple Porter, we even took some with! A definite stop while in the area!More

Unfortunately it was a special menu for the opening. The beer is for six dollars each. The actual menu and pricing is not public yet.
