We stoped at Rosie’s after a morning of weekend elk viewing. We arrived just in time as Rosie’s closes early, right after lunch, on Sat & Sun. Due to the covid pandemic the friendly hostess took our name & vehicle description to wait for a table in our car. They come get you when your table is ready. The menu was large, we had a difficult time deciding what to order. The eggs benedict were the best I ever had! The eggs were poached perfectly and hollandaise sauce was delicious. I added a piece of the French toast made with their homemade bread & home fries, both were fantastic. My husband had the meatloaf dinner, it was so moist & flavorful. We will make sure we stop at Rosie’s anytime we are in the area.

If the locals recommend a place, you know it has to be good. This place did not disappoint. GREAT homemade bread French toast, super friendly service, fun decor, did not feel crowded or loud and the food was fantastic. If you are in the area, this place is easy to drive by, but DO NOT MISS OUT!

Wonderful food, family run restaurant. Everything is made from scratch, including the bread. Breakfast and lunch were great. Haven’t had the dinner yet. Hot turkey sandwich (house made turkey) , and I had Steak Florentine omelet with grits. Both wonderful!

These people are the best, and the food is top of the line. Staff and regulars are the greatest. We enjoyed a great breakfast. If we were local we’d be some of the “regulars”

Recently my wife & I stopped at Rosie's Hilltop Diner for lunch after visiting the elk in Benezette, Pa. Nice small place. Excellent service & food! Highly recommend!

Not a fancy place, but one bite of your food will tell you that you came to the right place. Fast courteous service and delicious food at low prices keep bringing the “regulars” back.

Stopped in on our way home to South Carolina. Usually a good sign when the place is filled with locals. Food was great and the staff were awesome. Will stop again if ever in the area.

Our favorite restaurant in and around St Mary’s Pa. small place might seat 50 people with a large and varied menu. Breakfast was my favorite. 5 or 6 homemade pies on the menu daily. Inexpensive. Very popular with the locals.

After noticing all the cars in the parking lot whenever we drove by, we finally had time to stop. Now we know why this popular place about five miles south of Saint Mary's is well worth the drive. The atmosphere is neat and clean, with a slightly more contemporary/upscale look than your average diner. For our region, the menu is ambitious, with offerings like Parmesan pesto grilled cheese and mushroom brie soup as a special, along with standard American favorites. Service was friendly and swift. We came for brunch and my caramel apple walnut pancakes were very good. We will be back.

Love their trash plate for breakfast. All their food is delicious. They have daily specials. Service is good. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. I usually end uo taking 1/2 home.

Stopped here on a long journey on our road trip, we wanted to taste authentic America and Rosie’s did just that!
The food was fantastic and homemade, just like being at home (and gravy was as good if not better then most at home in England!) made such a wonderful change from the bland extortionate chains!
If we are ever in that part of the world again we will be back!

Whenever we are in Benezette, we always make it a point to have at least one breakfast at Rosies. Good food, great service and cozy atmosphere make it a favorite of ours! Definitely would recommend to anyone travelling by.

Stopped while out looking at the elk in nearby Benzette. Food was fantastic. Had a burger that was super and a Reuben that was phenomenal. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Would definitely stop again if I'm the area

This is a follow up review from my last visit. Wow, still impressed with the place. Like earlier stated, not fancy, not glitzy, but damn is the food GOOD! Friendly waitresses and ever so attentive. This is a must stop for each and every time I will be in town
