This is my boyfriend and I's diner of choice for breakfast and lunch. Excellent food, excellent staff! The stuffed French toast is to die for. Try the cheesecake too if interested in dessert. They still seem to be working out the kinks after being remodeled, but will still remain the first choice to go to when we're hungry.

There is a reason why in the mornings there is a line out the door even after renovations were completed. The food is exceptional and I have always been a fan of the service. The manager makes his rounds during the rush asking each and every table if they enjoyed their meal. I love breakfast and all the new options... More

Used to be a true hometown diner. They recently fully remodeled and added a bar. It is no longer a diner in my opinion. They seem to be transforming it into a sports bar. Food is average and staff is not always the most pleasant. You frequently hear complaints of how much they hate their job due to management. Food... More

What a pleasant experience. I had my elderly parents with us and the staff made them feel very comfortable and found us a seat close to the door (bad knees and all). The food was excellent, the service special (ask for Morgan) and the price was reasonable. I can't wait to go back and try their new cocktails! The remodel... More

Yes they now have a bar but the quality of what you are getting has gone way down. Canned gravy with meat dishes and no training for new staff. Used to be a great place and 1 of our faves. Now we will just pass it by.

Wow! The renovation of the former Hometown Diner is complete, and they went from a friendly, wonderful diner with great food to a nightmare. We had the worst meal ever and will not be back. We were regulars there and we had first-hand knowledge of most of the menu. The crab patty and mac & cheese special went from really... More

The cook needs to learn how to make pancakes flat and tasteless! Where is the fluffiness? Ordered the pancakes with sausage. Cakes were tasteless and flat. Sausage was greasy and again no flavor!

My boyfriend and I have been going to the Hometown (used to be called the Hometown Diner, but since renovating and adding a cool bar area, they are now called Hometown breakfast, bar and grill) since we moved to the area a few years ago. They have always had delicious food and we liked the "hometown" local feel of the... More

Our favorite local restaurant/diner. Its been beautifully renovated. Every once in a while we encounter a small problem (cold eggs, wrong toast, etc.) Thus the four stars instead of five. We have dinner there less often. Food is always good. Employees always pleasant. We live less than a half mile away so it is our "go to" place.
