Our server was SO very friendly. Our late lunch/or maybe early supper were very good. AND, they offered homemade pie!!!!! I would definitely go again if I had the opportunity.

Ordinary building with a cute interior as my wife says. Good food and friendly staff. Pumpkin pancakes were great! Not over-spiced like a lot of other places do with "Pumpkin Spice." Tasty and inexpensive. Interior is a bit worn down but that seems to add...to the charm.More
This little restaurant, may not look like much on the outside, but its one of the best places to eat! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is so nice. If I was going to open up a little Cafe, this is what I...would want. Awesome food and service!More
Great comfort food. Small place, nothing fancy. Excellent cheap eats with huge portions. Will definitely return!!!!
I stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy, I stood at the counter not sure if I should wait to be seated or just sit down. After standing for a while, I finally asked a waitress and proceeded to find a...table. I ordered the pot roast with potatoes and carrots and coleslaw. The roast and potatoes were pretty good, but the carrots could have stayed a little longer in the cooking pot. The service was ok, nothing special. It appeared that if you were local the service was a lot better.More
Good food and large portions. Good prices.I had the special for Tuesday which is spaghetti with meat sauce. Was very good and cane with salad and garlic bread. They had small and large sizes and the large must be huge because the small was a...pretty big portion. Had the excellent pineapple cake for dessert and iced tea. Total bill was under fifteen bucks including dessert!More
Read the reviews and decided to stop for a late lunch after visiting Kinzua Bridge State Park. People raved about the food and that is was home made. My husband got the patty melt with fries. He liked his sandwich and had a large order...of fries. I got the hot roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. Portions were ok but nothing was homemade. The ‘beef’ was a bunch of chopped meat. Disappointed.....was looking forward to some home cooked food while away on vacation.More
The food was great! Very friendly environment. Very quick service.Server was fast and very nice. I definitely will be going back.
We had been traveling for 3 days, and had been looking for a good diner. We visited the Zippo museum nearby in Bradford, and asked for a recommendation. Both women said the Derrick City Diner had good food. I checked the map and realized it...wasn’t on the way to the next destination, and we almost didn’t go. So glad we did. The food all tasted homemade, and hit the spot. The desserts looked homemade and so good, we took some to go. The price was very reasonable. We spent $29 for two dinners, coffee and two desserts. I would come here again, if we were ever in the area. The waitress was also friendly and quick.More
This place is absolutely fabulous. Can't say enough about the food, service and value. A little out of the way but we'll worth the effort. Breakfasts are their specialty. Come hungry. You won't be disappointed!!
Great little diner. Enjoyed coming here and passing up the Perkins near the exit. As much as we always enjoy that chain, these quaint diners just seem to make the road trip more adventuresome. This place has stopped time and has cool old pictures decorating...the dining area. Came at the end of breakfast and enjoyed traditional eggs and corn beef hash. My wife had a pancake that is truly something memorable and always worth a small trip out of the way. Be careful with GPS as it took us past the actual location. We think our service may have gone out. Fortunately, we spotted it as we passed and it was only a slight detour. A fun traditional diner, quality eats.More
I visited the diner for lunch yesterday, on Friday after Thanksgiving. It’s located right at 563 Derrick Road in Bradford, PA. Self-seating was no problem. Filled with lots of regulars from what I could tell, which bud we’ll for the Reataurant. Being Friday, I selected...the fish fry. I inquired about the small vs large size. The answer was depends how hungry you are. Being hungry I ordered the large with curly fries. The photo gives a clear indication how large the large was! Suffice it to say, I took home a doggy box with half of the fish which I reheated for dinner. The fries were fab. Great coffee and great service. Friendly staff, clean restaurant all added up to a 5 star review and a definite return for brunch.More
This is one of my favorite places to eat. It’s not fancy- it’s just good, home cooking, home feeling. Never had a bad meal here. This is the place the locals go.
The food at the Derrick City Diner is great. It's always hot and made to order. The portions are huge. The staff is the best in town. I great place to eat. I am there several times a week
Best fish fry in town. Stuffed baked haddock also recommended. We love the staff and how it is always packed but we never have to wait long at all. Kids love it there. It feels like you're crashing your cousin's house for dinner. Casual, tasty,...and very affordable.More
