The service was pleasant and good, and timely. Excellent lobster bisque. The turkey with Gorgonzola cheese sandwich was a little, lacking, slightly bland. ( not bad ,just not exciting).

By far this is the most quaint restaurant I have enjoyed. The food selection is very broad and none has disappointed anyone in our party (8). We eat here annually and now have a standing reservation.

My wife and I and another couple ate there recently and had a great time. Food was excellent. I had a NY Steak and my wife had duck. The other couple had duck and the cowboy pork chops. Everyone was well pleased with the dinner and we had a great server. We are planning to go back soon.

OK, I have to say that I read several reviews that were not entirely favorable. We had lunch at the tavern on Wednesday afternoon prior to going to see South Pacific at the Allenberry playhouse. My meal was FANtastic! Grilled liver and onions to perfection; super fresh salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing, steamed just right veggies and warm roll... More

We met family at the Tavern on Friday evening for dinner. Service was excellent and the food definitely met our expectations. We shared the portabella appetizer, 2 people had the veal and polenta, I had the roasted vegetable pasta. Great evening!

We had not been there for a couple of years, everything better than I remembered. Shared the smoked trout and salmon app, huge and tasty. Had Walleye for dinner, quite good. Ann our waitress was superb. A top notch dining experience.

We have been eating at the Boiling Springs Tavern for over thirty years, every time we go to the Allenberry Playhouse, and they are consistently incredible. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating as are all of their staff of which several have been there for years. The food is delicious, good variety and reasonably priced. We have never had...
