Let's get this straight, you go here for the food, because this is not a modern facility. The food comes out hot, great portions, and good price. The quality, quantity, and pricing is the best in the area. I prefer the Summit Breakfast which includes...More

This 1940s diner doesn't look impressive on the outside. Nor does it, on the inside. It's been around a looooong time. HOWEVER, please don't mistake worn for dirty---it's not! Great staff will treat you like a local(or better than they treat SOME of the locals!)....More

Chunks in my milk, food is iffy. Some what staff great, but owner is a grouchy. Ate breakfast there. Sue the waitress is great, but food is good sometimes, but not worth the money. Won't be going back! Anti 2nd amendment.

My husband and I have been twice for breakfast and both times had a terrible meal. Breakfast service is very slow... About a 30 min wait once you order. My pancakes were basically hardly cooked. They weren't even browned and gooey in the middle. The...More

Service is very slow for breakfast. You have to walk thru smoke to get to the non smoking area. Food is great once you get it.

My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at The Mountain Shadow recently. It's not fancy, but the diner reminded me of the 50s style, which I love. The waitress was polite and the food was great and the prices were very reasonable. I...More
