The service and staff were attentive and knowledgeable. I have been in Mexico many times and the food was even better then over there. Small place but cozy. Definitely go back on my next visit> Excellent job Sarape!!!!!

Hopes run high when you see the menu and the ambiance but almost every menu item was a let down. For $20ish dollars an entree you are hoping for at least pretty good but the food and service was mediocre at best.

The restaurant is slated as a authentic mexican restaurant. The food is ok not that exceptional. The drinks are good but are expensive. The cost for the food being served is a little too expensive than other Mexican restaurants which serve the same type of food.

Have visited this place since it opened in early 2000's but moved to Chicago in 2006. Got back to PA for a wedding and our friends organized a dinner of 16 knowing we LOVE this place. Luis did not let us down, food and service was great! So happy this is still going and hope to go back again when... More

Mediocre place. Not a great value for the price. Friendly staff but food is not great. Vegetarian selection is very limited. They charged me even for the extra hot sauce that i ordered.

Despite the construction seemingly on all sides of this small but wonderful restaurant, we went in for a return visit. Eating on the front porch on a gorgeous Friday evening, we ignored the traffic and settled in. The staff is super courteous and anxious to please. We started with Margaritas - generous in size, appropriately strong, and wonderful. Next we... More

Used a Groupon tonite at the small upscale Mexican restaurant. Margaritas were very good. The menu is not extensive and the portion sizes are perfect. Had the enchiladas with chicken and black bean soup/ very tasty. Flan for desert was excellent and garnished well.

Food is really good upscale Mexican for a decent price. I had the shrimp fajitas with cheese quesadilla, rice, black beans and guac. There was a good amount of food, some came home with me and was just as good reheated the next day. They need to put more lighting in though as we and many guests around us were... More

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but we will not go back. Stopped in for happy hour. The drinks were good but the happy hour food portions were ridiculous for the price. We ordered the special meatballs and for $5.00 we got five tiny (and I mean tiny) pieces. The taste was that of a frozen meatball. The happy hour casadias,... More

Great food - really cute restaurant inside. It's authentic Mexican, not tacos here. Marqueritas are terrific
