Stopped here on the way home from Ohio. Friendly waitress. Fresh food. Happy Wife. I got the Haddock with some delicious sides.

the balsamic vinaigrette dressing wasn't what they claimed it to be. it tasted and looked more like Italian. the shrimp only included 3 hushpuppies. The lama beans were mushy and bland and not hot. The meatloaf was cold. The veggies with that entree were cold as well. Very disappointing even for a Cracker Barrel.
Service was a little slow but food was good as always. We ate at end of day and you could tell with the food. It was good but you could tell it was end of day. Waitress was more concerned getting everything cleaned up then making sure we were taken care of.
we stopped here on our way home. The food here is consistently good. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich which was big, full and flavorful. I had the Fried chicken BLT. The size was tremendous and the sandwich very good, just barely finished, Also good down home food.
We were traveling on New Years Day, and didn't stop for lunch anywhere, it was about 2 in the afternoon when we just needed a break from the road and stopped here. We stopped here on the way home on New Years Day. I had the chicken and dumplings, hubby had the sampler platter, all came out to our table piping hot!! Despite it being very busy, our server, David, was very good!
We stopped here for lunch one Saturday afternoon after a morning of shopping. We like Cracker Barrel because it offers good, simple old fashioned comfort food. My husband got the rainbow trout and I got fried chicken tenderloins. Both our meals were excellent, came with two sides, plus fresh bread. Their children's menu offered a good selection of choices for... More

Cracker Barrel is a great place to visit if you want some all around american food with some breakfast choices as well as some southern like food. The food came out fast and good - I enjoyed some of their low cal fried chicken (I know it sounds crazy) but it was awesome good and guilt free. Of course, that... More
