Been going to Murphys since 2003 and the food has always been good. A year ago when we went and after being seated we waited and waited for a waitress. Enough was enough so we left. Decided to try again last night. It was crowded . The hostess seated us and said a waitress would be right with us. Sat... More

Friday night dinner with the family. We were seated right away which was great. Place is pretty big. We sat outside which was beautiful except for the smokers smoke from the outdoor bar. They have a pool that they welcome anyone to use so that was pretty fun. Dinner - prime rib was ok. Salmon -not so good, mashed cauliflower... More

This part of the Poconos is not known for an abundance of great places to eat, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find that not only is Murphy's Loft a charming throwback to the 1930's - real log cabin construction plus well done, fun, funky add ons - but, more importantly of course, the food we ordered was delicious.... Thank you for the review Ann. Our original log cabin was built in 1934 by the Knorr family and the glass room, outdoor bar and dining areas, and pool were added on in the 90's. If you enjoyed our filet and prime rib, on Thursday nights we have a $14.95 New York Strip Steak special. We look forward to serving... More

Authentic log structure, cozy dining room with fireplace, busy bar and an outdoor patio with pool - several different seating areas. The menu is eclectic and varied, pretty much something for everyone. different specials for each day of the week. We have been here several times and everyone has always enjoyed their selections - from hot dogs with chili and... More

Thank you for your review Denise. We try to offer a little bit of something for everyone and are fortunate that our three dining areas provide different atmospheres for any occasion. I always found it interesting how popular our original log cabin room with the fireplace is in the winter time and then how everyone wants to sit in the... More

Very family friendly restaurant and hotel. From the bartenders to the nicest woman who cleans the rooms, to the Maintenance man. We usually go up for skiing in winter, decided to try the summer atmosphere, and was not disappointed.

Traveling thru Poconos with wife and brother/sister-in-law. Close to interstate this is OK spot for lunch. Super-sized hoagie sandwiches, hot and crisp fries, iced beverages. Lunch for 4 under $60 (with tip).

Thank you for your review. We are only 1 mile south of the Blakeslee exit on I80. We're glad you found us on your way through the Poconos. I hope your hoagie and fries were enough to hold you over to your destination. Let us know what we can do to bring your experience up to a 4 or 5... More

This place was cool, first place I ever went to that had a outside bar, entertainment, and an in ground pool. Dark in the restaurant and bathroom a little gross. But cool place for drinks and music.

Thank you for the 5 Star review. Our original log cabin was built back in the 1930's from native trees and can give off a rustic appearance but our glass deck room is open year round and our deck bar and pool are open 7 days a week during the summer. We'll continue to have music on Sundays through September... More

Sorry to hear about your experience. The fish in our fish and chips lunch is a fried haddock filet. We do have a grilled salmon sandwich that many people rave about or a baked stuff flounder on our dinner menu if fried fish isn't what you're looking for. I'm glad your service was good and hopefully, if given another chance,... More

Nothing like that backwoods cabin feel. The bar is great. The staff and locals are friendly. It's not just a good spot in the winter. Summer is also good they have a pool and tiki bar. Live entertainment on the weekends. It's a must stop.

Thank you for the review Joe. One of my favorite things about working here is how friendly the patrons are.
