Food was ok, not great, not bad. Should have been better for the price. They do have many items that are not expensive, such as shepherds pie, fish and chips, pizza, and sandwiches, which are probably a better deal than the dinner entrees. Fish items were just ok, prime rib was pretty fatty. Ribs actually looked very good. Over $300... More

My brother & his wife invited us to the Stonersville Hotel on a Thursday for their Burger Night special. He said we should come before 6 as it gets crowded. Ok. I was aware of the place for years, decades even, but it's back off the highways, and along the byways and I'd never been there. (Note to non-Pennsylvanians, the... More

The burgers are amazing. Weekly specials are offered and wont disappoint. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed and cozy. Service is friendly. Definitely a place to frequent regularly.

The menu seems to be typical food service prepared items but not bad quality - I don't think they have a real chef here making creative dishes but if you like burgers , fish & chips , meatloaf , craft beer and nice smarmy ambiance you might like this place

Every time we come here, we always enjoy a nice comfortable meal and our server, Bobbie, who always makes great recommendations. Burgers, sandwiches, fish and salads. Whatever they do, it's always good. We are regulars!

The beer selection included several good options. We all enjoyed different meals from salads, to sandwiches to one of the best pasta meals I have ever had. Prices were not too bad, especially when your friend is buying.

My 18 year old daughter and I retreated to the Stonersville Hotel after walking into the Douglasville Hotel a few miles away. (It was clearly more of a bar populated by men so we left.) I remembered that my cousins had taken their family to Stonersville and figured the atmosphere would be more comfortable. I was delighted to find this... More

The building is old and quaint. The food is delicious, good drinks, and the server Bobbie is a trip. Wonderful experience.

The food is good but overpriced. The wine is drinkable, but not good...and is expensive by Reading's standards. If the atmosphere was more inviting or upscale perhaps the high prices would be justified. Like I said the food is good, but the prices are too high for what you get. This is not a gourmet restaurant or a restaurant with... More

The Stonersville Hotel is very much off the beaten track but well worth a few extra miles. Although only open Wednesday through Saturday Chef Karen makes it totally worth your while! Great drinks and great food - and we love her specials. One of my favorites is French Onion Soup!
