My family and I have been making it a point to go to Plain and Fancy for dinner every time we are in Pennsylvania. Service is great and food is exceptional. If your looking for a great place to eat this is a must.

This was one of our favorite meals on our recent trip to Lancaster. The food is fresh, delicious and plentiful. We can't wait to return.

We had the smoke house bbq platters and they were delicious. Between two of us, we sampled the smoked turkey and beef brisket, the applesauce, the mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, mac & cheese, cinnamon apples, and rice pudding. All delicious. Served quickly and competently. Everything...More

Our family enjoyed the family style experience and found the food to be very good. There was plenty of food for each of us and they offered to bring more of Anything we wanted. The food quality was better than I expected - especially for...More

We had the family style dinner. A little weird because they sit you at a table with strangers, but the food was excellent. It's all you can eat family style where you pass the plates to each other. Very good good, nice bakery downstairs.

We wanted to return here since we experience a wonderful family style dinner a couple of years ago. The restaurant is apparently still there...but they only offer the family style dining to groups of 20 or more now.

Had a family birthday party here for 16 people on a Saturday afternoon. First of all, they wouldn't push two tables together so that we could all enjoy each other's company, even though the large dining room was less than half full the entire time....More

This restaurant is in the Amish Experience complex so they should expect guests all day long. We arrived after our tours at a little before 2pm. Two families were waiting ahead of us and after waiting more than 5 minutes for hostess one went looking...More

The food was very tasty without a lot of junk stuff to try and fool your taste buds. The wait staff was excellent and always there to help with any needs you might have. Pricing was VERY reasonable and plenty to fill an empty stomach.
