This is a great value for a wonderful buffet meal. You can also order from the menu. They have a large array of local dutch food and it is prepared so wonderful. It is clean and it moves fast. There is not much waiting time. Staff is friendly as well. The market is right next door that you must not... More

Choose one of the other ones, The food is not good! Over used and not fresh tasting and very flat. I have never had a good experience there. Serve is not good. I just don't go back....not real Dutch food!

I had never been to this restaurant so we decided to go to an early dinner, 430pm, to beat the crowds. After waiting 5 minutes we were seated to a packed dining room. The restaurant must make deals with tour groups and there were about 150 people from a tour crowding the buffet. We decided to order from the menu... More

What's not to love about Dutch cooking. Every time we came we find new and great things to eat. The waitresses are the best. You have to look around the store after you have eatin

We always eat here when visiting the PA Amish Country. The food is very fresh with a wonderful selection. This is a popular restaurant and locals go too. Menu items are reasonably priced.

If you want friendly servers, family friendly eating and healthy and wholesome food this is the place to go. You are looked after and you go away satisfied and feeling good. There is a little gift shop within the restaurant also which is nice. Very nice.

Went to Bird in Hand on a saturday afternoon. No problem getting a seat as place was about 3/4 full. Kids 11 and 12 loved everything! I am pretty sure they gained 5 lbs each. Everything I at was fresh and tasty. Service was attentive. Especially loved the pretzel jello on the dessert buffet. Will definitely be going back!

A lot of people had recommended this place to us but we were a little disappointed. The food was good but not great. The service was fine and didn't have a problem getting a seat. There are other places that we thought were better so we just ranked it as average.

Had lunch here and buffet is way to go for adults and kids. Only $13.75 for adults and 99 cents per year of age for kids. Lots of choices and desserts. Also nice gift shop attached. Highly recommend!

My husband and I traveled to Lancaster a few weeks ago. We had time to grab something to eat before the Sight and Sound show. We wanted a nice dinner that would satisfy us for the remainder of the evening. WE stopped by the Bird in hand Family Restaurant. This restaurant offers both off the menu and buffet options. We...
