Everywhere we went people said try bird-in-hand. So we went for breakfast on a Saturday. Alot of the food was empty and the other was cold. Not impressed with it at all. We ate and left disappointed.

what happened to this place? The food used to be great. We went for lunch, same as many others, seems they do not care about the lunch service. Dried up food, not replacing food that is finished. Fried chicken was awful. Dry, when it was gone, it was gone. A horrible variety of food. other than dried up chicken, there... More
My husband looks forward to going to this restaurant each time we visit the area. He loves their ham loaf. The staff is very friendly. We aren't the "buffet lovers" but love that you can order your favorites off the menu. For those who enjoy buffets, there are different choices each day of the week. We have always have a... More
Food wasn't bad but it was far from great. The wait was long and while you wait, there's plenty of touristy stuff to buy if you choose to. If you want a great buffet, go to Mohegan Sun. Bird in Hand Family Restaurant was more like cafeteria food. Plenty of it, but poor quality, processed stuff. We did the buffet... More
Food was excellent and the service was even better our waiter Brandi was excellent she even left the check during dessert so that we wouldn't have needed to call her back which allowed us to leave earlier to play a round of mini golf before it closed
This had a great buffet and dessert bar. Great for a taste of the area and a sampling. My kid's loved the Noah's Ark Buffet and they even had Slushies at Buffet. The kids buffet was the price of the child........
Ate there last Saturday, server was very helpful and the food is terrific whether on the Smorgasbord or just off the menu. Save room for all the deserts, well worth the visit!!
We ate lunch there about 2:30 p.m. Some of the food was dried up on the buffet and not very appetizing......might have been better if we had gotten there earlier for lunch.......... pretty expensive for a lunch buffet.......
I know the buffet would be too much, but it looked wonderful. I ordered a bowl of their chicken corn chowder. It was delicious with lots of chicken and hard boiled egg in it. I highly recommend it.
