Nice, quick and ample restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly,

We went here after seeing a show at Sight and Sound Theater. We were just looking for a light, quick dinner and were not disappointed, although we certainly could have had more if we chose. Wife had a turkey club which came with the usual F.F. and was very good. I had a hot turkey sandwich with... read more

We have always visited the Lancaster area for too many years to count . One of our usual stops for lunch or dinner is the Bird In Hand Restaurant. Most of the time their food has been excellent , but recently the food seams to have gone down hill. It may be the fact that the time we visit the... More

My husband and I were passing through Bird In Hand in PA and decided to stop and eat. We're glad we did. (There are a lot of Amish in this area. We chose the smorgasbord. I think you can order off the menu as well. The food was wonderful, there was a nice variety, our server was fantastic and the... More

Have been eating at Bird in Hand for many years but this was the first time we tried the buffet. The food was wonderful and a good value.

Dear Tony07Nj, thank you for telling us about your experience. I am glad that your service was a bright spot, but I am disappointed that you found your food unsatisfactory. We pride ourselves on providing authentic PA dutch recipes from locally-sourced, farm-fresh foods. I hope that you will give us another try in the future. More

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Bird-in-Hand. Both times the food was very good. The service was excellent and the place was clean and nice looking inside. It also has a little gift shop area with some nice souvenirs'.

My husband and I ate here last week for dinner. We have eaten here many times in the past. Like many other experienced Dutch country visitors we can count on consistently good food and service at the Bird In Hand restaurant. Their menu includes a wide variety of food items including a buffet of many traditional PA Dutch dishes. When... More
