Perfect stop for tea and coffee on a cold November day. The mini donuts were perfect too. I didn’t check out the connecting elk life store but it looked pretty cool inside.

Location, location, location. That's what it's all about. Outdoor seating is available. While enjoying a meal or treat from the menu, you may see some elk nearby, as they live in that general area. The employees are very friendly. A tip jar is available, if...you are so inclined. A small gift shop consisting of mostly elk-themed attire is located to the right.More

Mom had egg sandwich which was very good. I had the sausage gravy & biscuit. Mine had good flavor but I would definitely order 2 biscuits if you're feeling hungry. I only had one biscuit and the amount of gravy was overwhelming for it. Coffee...was good. It was pretty busy with not a lot of space inside but food came quickly so it didn't seem like the wait was very long.More

Friendly staff. Good food. Free WiFi, and that is hard to find in this area. Sometimes elk are standing in their parking lot and yard!

After being out in the fog and cold, it was so charming to walk into the Old Bull Cafe. It is a converted church. Waitress was so friendly and informative and breakfast was delicious. Coffee was good and hot. We would recommend this cafe to...anyone. We will definitely be back.More

I'm afraid I cannot agree with some reviews. My husband sandwhich, beef and cheddar, was a roll so hard he barely could use is knife for a bite. My fries were tasty. Service was fast, friendly I agree. We've been here over the years. Hopefully it...was a fluke.More

Ate at Old Bull, over Elk Expo weekend. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very good. Hubby had a burger that he said was very tasty. I had the hot sausage sandwich. It was hand pressed sausage, lots of peppers and onions- delish! They...also serve ice cream, and have a nice fire ring and relaxation area!!More

Went for breakfast. Amazing!!! Food was great!!! Prices were good. It’s an old church and they used the old benches from the church in there. Lots of character. Food is worth the wait. Everyone was so nice. It was the best little town with the...nicest people. I can’t wait to go back!!!More

The establishment has a very nice selection of sandwiches and comfort food. We had dinner there and were not disappointed. They also have an ice cream store which was a great ending to the meal. We would recommend this place to anyone.

We were on vacation from NC and decided to stay in the little town of Benezette. After hearing all about the exciting Elk sightings, we couldn't wait to experience that! We decided to stop in the Old Bull Café for breakfast the first morning. It...was a very cute café and had that "home away from home" feel to it. There were 4 of us (all adults). Our food came out within 20 minutes, even though they pretty much stayed super busy most of the time, and the breakfast was FANTASTIC!!! We particularly loved the French toast and the thick, juicy, bacon that was cooked to absolute perfection! Obviously, we were all very pleased with the food and the employees there were so very friendly! The owners were especially helpful, they treated us as if they had known us forever, and really made us feel like we were a part of that little small town feel! They went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was special and they surely made this a very memorable adventure. Carla and Andy, you guys are the definition of gold hearted people and we thank you guys so much for making our trip absolutely perfect! We stayed in that town for about 4 days. We saw so many beautiful, HUGE, elk roaming around everywhere there, they even roamed around the fire pit at the café which was absolutely breath taking to see them up close!. Definitely was more like something you would see in a movie but seeing it in person it just something that can not even be explained. We ended up eating here at some point every day during our trip and always had to grab some ice-cream after our long day of adventuring too! I would most definitely recommend this café as well as this amazing town to anyone that is looking to experience breath taking views as well as some of the friendliest people you will ever meet! We have already made plans to visit there again very soon and have already begun counting down the days!More

Our visit to the Old Bull Café was on a beautiful autumn day for a noon lunch on our way to the Pennsylvania Elk Center. Had sandwiches (burgers, chips, slaw) and both where very tasty and fulfilling. Nice place to grab a bite to eat,...sit outside and what for Elk. Ice cream for dessert and wine tastings, if you choose.More

Stopped by with the family including my inlaws and two children. We ordered a grilled chicken salad, an elk burger, 2 regular cheeseburgers, a grilled cheese and a reuben. Orders come with a choice of macaroni salad or coleslaw and a bag of chips. Fries...are on the appetizer menu, and are shoestring fries. Not my favorite type of fry, but that was my fault for not asking. Food was pretty good. Nothing fancy, and that's ok because this place isn't a fancy restaurant. No one in our party had any complaints. Great for a quick bite to eat.More
