Terrific place, wonderful gift shop with many unique items...fabulous food (though with the large groups already seated we waited about 50 minutes after ordering for the scrumptious meals) and Candace was outstanding. The wait was "quick" because we had such fun!!

We had a family meeting with half of us driving west from Hershey and half driving East from Pittsburgh. It's the perfect halfway stop. The food was good - crab cakes were perfectly cooked with lots of meat. The patio is lovely and the service was very good.

We had the lobster ravioli---it was great but very rich. The chicken wings were excellent and the potato crisps just ok. If it's full downstairs try upstairs as that is open seating. The outdoor seating has a very nice view.

A lovely spot with tons of atmosphere off of 30 near Bedford, Pa. We chose to share a few plates and glad we did. The Crab Corn chowder was thick with abundant fresh crab. There was a lovely choice of salads and decided on the Salmon. I was so surprised to have such a large portion of salmon and glad... More

We always enjoy our visits and our meals. The scallops and asparagus is always my favorite! Every seasonal special is typically amazing... Like the butternut squash bisque! Atmosphere is always clean, you may have a little bit of a wait but it's worth it!

Ate there twice in two days!! Beautiful historic setting! Salmon cakes, pork chops with a blueberry sauce. oatmeal pie (like pecan). Excellent service. Suggest calling ahead reservations may be necessary, at times they are very busy. Bar is separate from dining room, also outside dining and gift shop.

We visited the Jean Bonnet Tavern for dinner with another couple. The food was interesting (not all of it was the usual fare) and well prepared. Our waitress, Stephanie, was very -pleasant and efficient. It could at times be a bit difficult to hear our conversation because the sound did not deaden with the stone walls, but the ambiance is... Stopped in for lunch and was quite pleasantly surprised, much better than our last visit years ago. Service was very attentive and the salads were quite delicious! Will stop again soon as this was a motorcycle destination.

Loved this restaurant. Ate here on my business travels. Great spot for drinks and dinner. I ate a salad and my co workers meals looked outstanding.
