I really liked the atmosphere here. I would return when I am in Bedford over other places I have eaten here.

You think it's a great menu.. We started with the fried zucchini as an app and it wasn't crispy , but we ate it mostly because we were hungry... Chicken -orange mandarin salad was ok, lettuce tasted like it came out a bag ..?chicken breast was done on the griddle .. And a bit dry ... The French fries weren't... More

We had 7 people and one walker all fit into an old wooden booth. Great for sharing delicious appetizers- we had artichoke cheese appetizer served with colorful corn chips. My chicken breast with herbed linguini was very good. Others at table enjoyed Delmonico steak and mushrooms, salmon, crab cakes, gazpacho and salads. All very good. Nice assortment of on-tap beers.... More

I have visited Jean Bonnet for dinner many times and it has been consistently very enjoyable. I bring out of town guests to Jean Bonnets even though it is quite a drive because we always have such an enjoyable time. They have a great menu selection and always run specials. We have never been less than very happy with our... More

We dined here in Sept 2014 and stopped here again on our drive to Virginia. The French Dip sandwich is so good. However for $13 I feel it should include a side. Had the carrot cake for dessert, $5. It was very good and big enough to share. I like the atmosphere here and the gift shop also. Worth the... More

Friendly staff, nice menu, good service and good food made for a memorable meal on a special occasion. The main dining room is located downstairs with a pub/tavern on the first floor and B&B rooms on the second floor. The building was constructed in the 1760's and has a rich history from the French and Indian Wars and the Whiskey... More

This historical location offers indoor and outdoor dining. Stone walls, old wood beams and historical memorabilia. The building was built in the 1700's. Our server, Stephanie, was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is eclectic American fare like Chicken Parmesan (excellent) Gnocchi w/.pea pesto and mint (surprisingly tasty), pork with cherry sauce (a little dry when we were there) and a... More

We had dinner at Jean Bonnet while staying in the B&B. We chose inside dining, although outside dining is available. The dinner salads were wonderful with fresh, crisp vegetables and a very good vinaigrette dressing. My wife enjoyed hot and tasty crab cakes, although the shredded crab outpaced the lumps, resulting in crumbly texture. A minor comment based on crab... More

I have passed by this place many times traveling through PA. So decided to stop in this time. Overall the place is really interesting from a historical perspective. I ate at the bar, but there is table dining both inside and out. The service was really good, very friendly servers. The main review of this place however is that the... More

We sat outside on a beautiful day and enjoyed the surroundings. We loved reading about the history of the tavern and enjoyed the food. The kids also had a great time feeding the goat after. Definitely worth a stop
