It doesn't get any fresher than this. While we were eating, a man, we assumed was the Luna fishing captain came in. They catch it, clean it and cook it, you get to enjoy eating it. The food was great. Chowder and fried clam strips are highly recommended. You could tell it is family operated and everyone was as friendly... More

Although this is a small restaurant in Yachats, it has some of the best food we've eaten! We dine out quite a bit and are always looking for great seafood and great value. That's what you'll find at Luna! My husband and I ate here on our anniversary trip. I highly recommend it!

Went here on recommendation of local guy from hotel. It is owned and operated by a fisherman and seafood was right off the boat fresh. It is not fancy but it is great. We sat outside under tent with heaters and there was live music too. You can't go wrong dining here.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel as well as a local living in Yachats. The decor is very simple and has some framed photographs of the owner out fishing and some of his catches. This adds to the authenticity of the establishment. The food portions are a good size. We tried a few different dishes and were happy with... More

Our hotel recommended this place and we were not disappointed. We were told it was "super casual" and it was. The owner has a fishing boat and catches what he prepares. Highly recommended dishes are the steamer clams and the fish tacos. The tacos had a fresh mix of marinated salmon, tuna, and haddock. Delicious with a cold Dead Guy... More

Two bowls slumgullion, a cup and bowl of chowder- should call it potato stew. Teenytiny shrimp and microscopic bits of clams with hardly any soup. Disappointing considering location and all the good references I saw for this place-

I think some of the fish are still swimming when they find themselves in the Luna Sea kitchen. You can eat in the restaurant or buy fish to cook yourself. It is conveniently located and easy to find. There is a large tented and comfortably heated patio, in addition to inside service. The restaurant is small and elbow to elbow,... More

Small Cafe combined with the fish market. The atmosphere is cozy. The seafood was basic but very fresh and tasty. I understand the owners have their own boat, so many of the items literally come from boat to the market and the cafe. The staff is very friendly and I found the prices to be reasonable.

Luna – excellent seafood in a casual setting at very fair prices. We had two nights in Yachats and ate here both nights. Would probably do the same if we were staying 28 nights in Yachats. Can't recommend highly enough!

This roadside cafe dissapointed us. We read the reviews and expected a decent meal. We ordered the combo fish and chips which was salmon, cod and albacore chunks. The fish was dry and overcooked. The pieces of fish were what appeared to be ends and scraps not filets or substantial pieces.Fries were cold and greasy. Look elsewhere for good fish and chips!
