Sort of in the middle of nowhere, this amazing deli and bakery has customers traveling from near and far for the wonderful vegetarian soups, salads, and sandwiches. They use bread they bake on site (you can purchase many varieties) and much local organic produce to create a variety of unique and very tasty lunch/brunch menus. The bakery offers sticky buns,... Wonderful food and experience at this neat bakery. All sandwiches are made with fresh veggies and homemade bread. Don't forget to try the awesome "sticky buns"

This place is a vegetarian restaurant but everything tastes so good you don't even miss the meat. I always find myself making excuses to go out there. Sticky buns and carrot cake are also favorites.

Whether near Umpqua or not, plan a visit for a meal here. You will be served natural, delicious food at a good price. Be sure to enjoy the ambiance of the garden-surrounded patio arbor in the back of the building as the location for your meal.

I have to drive quite a ways to get to this wonderful restaurant but it is worth the trip. It is all vegetarian, nearly all local sourced, most of the veggies are grown on their own farm in the hills west of the restaurant. It is fresh picked and fabulous. My favorite sandwich is the Portobello Mushroom on Sourdough bread.... More

Had breakfast here on our way out of town. Sourdough bagels with egg and sausage, large portion for the money. Very good! Sourdough pizza and chocolate/peanut butter brownie to go for lunch. Definitely recommend.

This outpost of wonderful vegetarian food is almost convincing enough to make me to swear off fish and meat entirely. The staff is low key, friendly and helpful without fuss. The food is tasty, very generously portioned and worth every penny of the prices (which on first impressions seem 10-20% high, but which are true bargains when the food arrives.)... More

I am definitely not a vegetarian and getting me to go to a veg restaurant was a surprise. But surprisingly I enjoyed my meal. Had the Asian chicken salad - very tasty. My friend enjoyed the reuben sandwich. Service is slow so plan to spend a great deal of time there...all in all a good experience.

Great breads, and a great menu. The Umpqua lighthouse is a bit out of the way, but worth it. We like to combine a visit to the restaurant, with a trip to one of the local wineries. Ruestle Prayer Rock Vineyard is about a mile up,the road.

Thank Mkildal

I could not stop myself from writing about this place. I am here for few days and will be going back to this cafe for every lunch and dinner. Today me and my wife had a Potato Salad and Pasta. No doubts it was the best Potatao Salad and Pasta I ever had. The best part is that everything is organic and vegetarian. They donot use any meat, fish or eggs. I have also tasted tea cakes and biscuits from this bakery and they are super delicious. If you ar epassing this area, STOP and EAT!
