More than 5 miles out of the nearest town, the Lighthouse eatery was a superb find. We arrived at the country-lane restaurant just minutes after it opened, and there was already a line to order. The Asian salad topped with tofu and the three-bean soup were excellent, as was the other soup, a sweet-potato chowder. The veggie club was terrific... More

I've been here several times over the years and like the setting out in the open country and farmlands. Any of their salads, sandwiches and beverages are great. A little pricey but that's to be expected for all natural ingred,, brick oven cooking and health fare.

Real down to earth cooking. granola hippy, vegan cuisine. outrageously yummy bakery and breads. As this must be at least 100 characters long I guess I will fill the rest with mindless chatter. Just go there! It is in a secluded place as well!

Wonderful vegetarian menu and homemade breads and desserts. We were happy to see that they now have their own homemade gelato, which was quite good. It's a trek out there, and the food comes out slow when they are busy, but it's worth the drive and the wait. Don't forget, it's closed Mondays.

I always try to get to the Lighthouse Bakery when visiting my parents in Roseburg. For many years, they lived on Tyee Road on the banks of the river, and had to drive many miles to get to the local post office. It was quite a delightful surprise when Lighthouse opened next door. Their muffins and breads rival anything I... More

Description
I could not stop myself from writing about this place. I am here for few days and will be going back to this cafe for every lunch and dinner. Today me and my wife had a Potato Salad and Pasta. No doubts it was the best Potatao Salad and Pasta I ever had. The best part is that everything is organic and vegetarian. They donot use any meat, fish or eggs. I have also tasted tea cakes and biscuits from this bakery and they are super delicious. If you ar epassing this area, STOP and EAT!
