Both Hubby and I very much enjoyed our meal here. We started with a trip to the salad bar, which was super fresh and lacking nothing. The honey mustard dressing was super!! I had the salmon, very good...the corn on the cob must have been picked that same day. Hubby had chicken fried steak... very good. Both had real home... More

We are on vacation and wanted to eat somewhere new. We went to trip advisor to look for suggestions in the area. The reviews were promising and we were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service was quick and very friendly. Loved the atmosphere. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!

My boyfriend has always seen this place on our drives to the coast and we decided to give it a shot. I'm glad we did! The place had a very comfortable, home style atmosphere and the staff was friendly and attentive. They've got a great tasting Reuben sandwich, and ice cream is available for dessert. Nothing wrong with this little... More

Alice's is a 'real-food' place. Our friends had corned beef hash with poached eggs and loved it. My wife had french toast...very good. I had the standard one hotcake, a basted egg, and sausage...also very good. The egg was done just right and the hotcake, which was quite literally the size of a dinner plate, was also done just right.... More

We were coming from Portland to the coast on #6...getting nervous as it was nearly 8 pm and we hadn't found a place for supper. Saw Alice's and pulled in. Waitress was welcoming and did not rush us at all. We both had the salmon cakes which were delicious. I had mashed potatoes (would ask no gravy another time as... More

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Tillamook Forestry Center. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We had the Malibu chicken, the Rueben sandwich, the Route 6 and the BBQ wrap.

Our family held an 80th birthday party for my aunt at Alice's Country House last weekend and we could not have had better service! It was a large party (around 40 people) and the staff kindly arranged for us (in advance) to use the big room in the back so we could all celebrate together. Monique and crew were absolutely... We travel from Portland to Highway 6 often as we have a 'family' vacation home in Bay City, I have always wanted to stop at Alice's to eat! My husband finally stopped just to satisfy my curiosity. Typical 'greasy spoon' type/tasting food. It was disappointing as I was hoping for some 'good home cooking'. We stopped for lunch, maybe breakfast... More

It's as if the biscuits were baked in heaven and then passed through to us mortals through her restaurant. When you cover those biscuits with the sausage-chunk gravy your sum is one awesome breakfast. Yes, heavenly. Locals gather at the counter discussing their local events and the rest of us pass through; just a little lucky to be able to... More
