The Blue Heron Cheese company is a fun stop in Tillamook. Much less crowded than the nearby Tillamook Cheese factory. In addition to cheese tasting they also offer a very large variety of jams, dips and mustards to taste. The cafe offers so nice choices for lunch.

Loved this place! The cheese samples and wine tasting 5 tastes for $5 was wonderful compared to the Disneyland effects of Tillamook cheese factory. Skip that one and go directly here. Best time is before noon.

It's worth a short visit if your in Tillamook. The cheese samples were more of dip with pretzel sticks. A lot of package soups, dips, sauces, pancake mix, chocolate and ice cream to purchase. More of a gift shop. If I return I would try the wine tasting. Kids would like the farm animals around the outside store for entertainment.

It was so lovely from the outside that I was excited to stop and check it out. Really was a little down. It is a large French Country inspired gift, wine and cheese shop with a lunch area. Samples were available. No tours of the cheese making process.

Wonderful selection of Panini style sandwiches, soups and salads along with cheese platters that pair perfectly with the wine tasting. Very helpful staff. Unique items for sale from food to wine to trinkets. Check out the collection of hot sauces for sale and spicy items, always a great gift to be had here. There is a petting zoo outside and... More

Tried the Tillamook cheese factory and couldn't deal with the overwhelming crowds! We were told by a friend to try the Blue Heron close by. Country French flair; wine tasting; cheese tasting area; lovely lunch section; and surrounded by open fields and animals. Yes, donkey, sheep, alpacas to pet & feed (not a petting zoo). The beautiful surrounding of fields... More

They have a nice lunch menu and one can have wine or sample wine. One can sample dips, BBQ sauce, mustards, and jams. Then an extra treat for children and adults alike is farm animals out doors.............................so much to see.

This place isn't the same as the Tillamook factory and not even set up the same. Try the wine tasting, 5 drinks for 5 bucks. Lots of different spreads to try there, the cheese wasn't the greatest but they only had brie.
