I just had lunch at Yen's for the first time, and it is a very average Chinese restaurant with decent food. I had the Pea Pod Chow Yuk with chicken, and the portion is very large, plus it comes with soup and tea. The food was good, and fresh, but lacked flavor. The atmosphere is traditional Americanized-Chinese restaurant with red... More

We have been taking food out and eating it in at this place since the 1960's. It is always consistently good and the portions are large. Choose from 6 luncheon specials or from a list of entrees for lunch. They have a huge menu to choose from and prices are reasonable.

Sometimes, I go to dinner with my parents. Tonight, being one of those times, I was left a victim of their general sense of direction, and where they wanted to go. Tonight, they chose Yen's, and I'm happy to say that I am glad they did! The menu offered dishes that I've not had before. Unfortunately, the combination dinners offered... More

They have Egg Foo Yung and moo goo gai pan, chow fun and great fried rice, We order and take home a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Good bar b cued pork. Fast and a huge take away business. The inside is dated and busy. The service is good. Good prices and okay parking out in front or down the... More

Food was pretty bland, the sesame chicken was deep fried chicken that had some sesame seeds in the batter, no sauce. Fried rice was dry and lacked flavor (only ate a bite or two) Decent serving sizes but most of the food reminded me of what I could buy frozen at any grocery store and heat up myself. If you... Although I have only been here once my wife has been here several times. Their menu is extensive and their food is excellent. Service was quick and made you feel welcome. If you do decide to give it a try you will definitely be coming back. Also if you go make sure you are hungry as their portions are big.

YEN'S formally YAN'S is Tigard's top GO TO Chinese restaurant. When the HI HAT closed, Yen's became the best restaurant around. It serve's tradition Chinese food, no surprises, just the same menu you would order from when you were a kid. As in most Chinese places the food depends on who the chef is, I have GREAT food and also... More

We have been visiting this restaurant since we moved to Tigard back in '89. It was called Yans back then. The restaurant changed hands in the 90s but the food is still wonderful! The portions are quite large and it is authentic Chinese-American fare. We always order Family-Style A and C, with extras of several of the dishes as well.... More

Yen's is one of the best places to eat in Tigard. I have been eating there since I first moved to Portland. The prices are great! I always leave happy and full. P.s. get the spring rolls

LOVE this place!!!! We have been there several times and have yet to have a bad meal. Our favorite dish is the coconut chicken. Creamy and so full of flavor. Their wonton soup is a meal within itself. The place could use a remodel and some of the staff are "too busy" , but overall one of the best chineese... More
