We stayed at the Dalles Inn and walked over here for dinner/drinks on our road trip. This place was really neat, had an outdoor patio. It was beautiful out for May, 90 degrees! We are from Duluth, MN so this was quite the surprise to us that it could be this nice here in May. They had a large selection... More

Mixed crowed, can be loud at times. Good selection of micro brews. Children would not have a good time. Staff friendly, and knowledgeable of ales and food. Burgers are good which is funny, Burgerville directly across the street

Great beers, great food, excellent service! Try the Reuben with the Chipotle Sauce, instead of 1000 Island. Great Sweet Potato Fries, too!

Greatly impressed by the huge selection of beer. Being a porter/stout fan I usually have one or two choices. Their beer list included at least 5 different porters/stouts--tastefully selected to provide a variety within this specific realm. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the specials available during football games were delicious and a value.

After traveling quite a while, we just wanted to find someplace to relax and watch baseball. We found both at Clock Tower Ales. We had very good, creative sandwiches and some pasta. All the food was excellent. The waitress was very friendly, making great suggestions when we weren't quite sure what we wanted. The root beer was great, too.

We stayed at The Dalles Inn and were happy to find Clock Tower Ales a few steps away. The historic building made a great impression and we were excited for a good experience. While the restaurant wasn't very busy, we waiting at least 10 minutes before a server came by, and then she didn't bring our beers until we asked... More

Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.
