The food was good, the service was poor. Self seating - either the bar or outside, we chose the bar because the game was on. The waitress that greeted us was very upbeat and friendly. The waitress that finally showed up at our table had the personality of floor mat. I ordered a sandwich with fries (special) and asked for... More

We were not overly hungry so just wanted a salad. They have a great selection of salads to choose from on the menu. I tried the Asian salad and found it to be very good with crunchy rice noodles and a very tasty dressing. My wife had the spinach salad and there was a ton of spinach on her plate.... More

Stopped in for Happy Hour at the Clocktower. Great old antique building with (what else) a clock tower! We sat on the patio/deck area and enjoyed the people watching. The happy hour menu has some great bar food for cheap! The onion rings and fish tacos were very good. Lots of micro beer choices available. We had a quirky waitress... More

We sat outside and listened to some great live blues. Friendly service at a leisurely pace. Great spot to bring the kids.

We have eaten here a few times over the last few years. We hadn't been for a while, and had a gift card, so we decided to go. I ordered a 1/4 lb pub burger on a pretzel bun. The "burger" was a preformed obviously frozen patty - not what I expected at this type of restaurant. It was edible,... More

I've come here 2 days.in a row for a late dinner. Thurs 9-1 I came I and ordered the triple beet salad which was very good. I ordered the onion rings as an afyer thought but was dosappointed in them. Not the type of batter i expected. The waitress was definitely not overly friendly and seemed rushed. I came back... More

Good variety on the menu and lots of craft beers available - as well as outdoor seating in an old historic building. Directly next door to The Dalles Inn. Good meal!

We were staying overnight in the Dalles and wanted a place to eat and drink that we could walk to. Fortunately the Clock Tower was close by and looked interesting, so off we went. The atmosphere is way laid back as you are in a old Government building or old house, something but it is set up way cool. The... More

First of all, April did a great job taking our orders and giving us great service, thanks. Lots to choose from and a great refreshments menu. (although I did get a little upset stomach the next day from the mushroom/onion/swiss burger) Good place for friends to meet and enjoy the atmosphere.

Description
Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.
