This is a pub/restaurant located in an historical building. They have a lot of beer taps, serve hard ciders, wine & mixed drinks too. I attended the United Way Fundraiser they sponsored there. The place was packed but we got awesome service! They have a great happy hour menu and the food is good. I had fish taco's and they... More

Staff was friendly but 3 of the 5 beers we ordered were bad. They tasted like out datedkegs. I was excited to see the Maple brown from Wild Ride but it was foul. I will tell you I was just at the brewery a week ago so I know how it should taste. I only took two sips and the... More

This is located in an historical building in the center of town. It has seatings inside in an environment full of characters and seatings outside with often live music. The list of beers, mostly from various breweries of Oregon is impressive, less so that of the wine. The food is standard pub fare but it was above average in terms... More

Make no mistake, this is a pub in a classy and classic environment. The beer selection is strong as well as the aroma of beer. A lively place with a great outdoor dining porch as well as high ceilinged wood interior with both ample booths and high tables, it is a popular place with locals. Our service was sensitive and... For a Brew Pub type eatery this is very good. The food was excellent as well as the service. They have a nice outdoor patio that's covered which is a nice touch on sunny days. They also have tons of beer on tap so lots of options.

We stopped in here for a late lunch around 1:30-2:00. There were maybe 2 other tables of customers and there were two waitresses. Neither waitress seemed to know what she was doing. My sister ordered an iced tea and she said it would be just a few minutes as she was brewing some fresh. It never arrived. The food took... More

Went there for a late lunch (around 2:00 PM). The place wasn't particularly crowded, and there were several waiters. We ordered a salad and a wrap (nothing that should take a particularly long time to prepare), and waited . . . and waited . . . and waited. It took over 15 minutes for the food to finally arrive. We... More

My husband and I were referred here by the staff at the Fort Dalles Museum and were not disappointed. He had a burger, and I had a teriyaki chicken bowl. Both selections were good. The service was a little eccentric, but friendly. The building, an old courthouse, is interesting, and there's a nice patio outside that looks like it would... More

Food was mediocre and the wait staff was cold and unwelcoming:( I do not have any plans to go back there any time soon.

Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.
