First of all, April did a great job taking our orders and giving us great service, thanks. Lots to choose from and a great refreshments menu. (although I did get a little upset stomach the next day from the mushroom/onion/swiss burger) Good place for friends to meet and enjoy the atmosphere.

This old courthouse has been converted quite nicely into a pub. I loved all the sunflowers planted around the building and the doggie door in the gate around the patio. Micros are only $4.50 from 2-6 pm so I tried a tangerine wheat ale. The mini burger basket was $5.00 but a little underwhelming in flavor. Service was excellent.

Nice brewpub with excellent beer list and good food. Nice indoor layout with outdoor patio as well. Good service, fair prices. Watched the Olympics over lunch with plenty of TVs for good viewing without annoying sound. Definitely would return.

I was in town working for a couple of days and came here one evening to do some work and have a meal. The town was celebrating their annual car cruise/show and everyone was a little raucous. The staff was friendly, in spite of some annoying and inebriated people and found let me sit in an out-of-the-way booth, so I... More

I reeeeally wanted to like this place, arrived with great expectations after speaking with an employee on the phone to inquire if dogs were welcome on the deck-which they are. It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, not a whole lot of people. However, service was agonizingly slow, food was mediocre- had the Surf n Turf salad and potato nachos. My... More

The Clock Tower is a great place to relax and have a meal and a beer. I love porters and they are number of them on TAP. You can choose the indoor a/c or the the outdoor raised patio. On Fridays, they have music on the patio. The prices are very reasonable. They staff are quick.

After touring around down town we stopped in for a snack and a beer we sat outside and were waited on promptly. The beer was great and the food hit the spot. It was early afternoon so the place was not busy. The prices were very reasonable. We hope to actually eat a meal there on our return trip.

So my favorite thing here was the sweet potato fries and the fry sauce. Very tasty. The building was a historic courthouse from late 1800s converted to bar and grill. Planters full of sunflowers surround the outside deck eating area. Food was good. Not big portions but adequate. Had a tasty french dip. Good but not huge selection of beers.... More

I ordered the mac and cheese, usually a safe choice. Plenty of it, as the waitress said, but it was not terrific. Nice patio.

Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.
