On a Saturday at lunch there was no one there. The bartender was all alone. We came in and then a big group came in. The poor gal had to really hustle. The margaritas were not good even though they were made with fresh fruit. The guacamole was delicious and so were our entrees. The decor was strange and the... More

It was okay - not really up to our standards for Mexican food being from California. The margarita was great! The presentation was nice but both of our dishes were just okay. I did like their salsa. My husband said his chicken tasted like it had been microwaved. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful though which was nice and... More

The one thing I did learn is that if you go there to grab dinner before a movie at the Sisters Movie House give it at least one hour to one and half hour time. I like that the ceiling looks like you're looking at the stars at night.

On our way to Mt. Bachelor in Bend, we stopped at Sisters to get a bite to eat. We found RIO at the end of town and decided to eat there instead of driving all the way in to Bend. We were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful , great atmosphere and food was the BEST Mexican I have ever eaten. Everything was... More

I am so sorry that I took this much time to write my review. I knew I would write one as I stepped out the door. We loved this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The reason I regret waiting this long is that the food was wonderful to one vegetarian and one meat... More

I like to cook Mexican food and have for years, and I really like the way that Rio comes up with very creative dishes that I sometimes like to emulate. Our party got four different dishes -- the special pork adobado taco plate, a shredded pork stuffed pasilla chile, red and green mole smothered chicken enchiladas, and the carne asada.... More

Like the title says the menu looked great. However the two dishes we had were ok. My roasted pork mole dish was watery. The Cadillac margarita tasted like orange juice w decent tequila. For the price I would drive a bit farther to Bend for more selection at this price range.

We loved this place, their recipes are inventive, include a lot of vegetables and even fruit, and used to be tasty. We noticed the service has gotten sketchy over time. Our last visit though will probably be the last. I was served spoiled meat, the waiter forgot our drinks and had to be reminded twice (seems no one tending the... More

Our group had a bad experience at Rio. The service was very poor, the food mediocre, and the staff was not friendly.
