I know a lot of people love this place and I, for the most part, agree with them. The rolls are great as is the salad and soup that come with them. The atmosphere is great, it's an old outbuilding of some sort that has been converted, barely, to a dining room. There is a ton of cowboy/ranch stuff on... More

We were passing through, so I called a week in advance to get reservations. Time wasn't good, but we made them anyway. We were on our way to a weekend in the desert and, frankly, I had not packed enough food. Well, we had ordered two steak dinners, one chicken and two kids. We left stuffed and had food for... More

Holy cow, When I first arrived I smiled and the smile never left my face. The people are great. The food was great. The small cabin was great. The sunset was great and the sunrise was great. I know it is a little drive to get to it but it is so worth it. I can't wait to go again... More

This place is just so much fun! We've been here quite a few times and always enjoy ourselves. The food is delicious and all home-made "cowboy" food. Big steaks and whole chickens make it memorable (bring a cooler for your leftovers!). The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect. Rustic. We usually hike Crack In The... All of the details of this place make it a must- see destination! The decor is rustic and fun. The food is amazing. The salad was above ordinary, with homemade dressing that tasted homemade. The yeast rolls were also homemade, like what my mother used to knead by hand. The beans were clearly made from scratch, and then of course... More

We had a great time. the Cabin was cute. The food was probably the best food either of us had had in a long time. Worth the drive out there.

It is a quiet calm drive out to a place where things are slow and people are friendly. This is a restaurant with rustic amenities and food served family style. The beauty of the area makes one want to leave city life behind. The food is hearty. Definitely going back.

CDT is off the beaten path, there are large servings and numerous courses, The decor is rustic Western, to match the landscape.

This is a funky little cowboy-themed hole-in-the-wall restaurant out in the middle of nowhere, but it has a legendary reputation and people come from far and wide to eat here. Reservations are a must. For one set price, each diner may choose either chicken or steak for their entree. Prior to the main meal, you are served fresh salad, soup,... More

You better like your steak blood-rare, as they seem incapable of cooking it any other way. They do ask you how you want it, but the cook does not seem to pay any attention. Be prepared to send your steak back for more time on the grill (while the rest of your meal gets cold).

Thank kupa
