They serve chicken fried steak that is the best we've ever had. The gravy is delicious and tastes like sausage gravy, smothered over the most tender cfs I've ever had and it tastes good. We will always return for this meal in particular.

Good for breakfast, avoid the fish and chips and fried chicken. Some how some one got the idea to use dehydrated hash brows for the coating on the fish ??? The fried chicken is advertised as large pieces, honestly I think they should change menu to say "fried chicks" Unbelievably small pieces...

typical small town american breakfast--very large portions. Not as greasy as most of this ilk. Clean restaurant, and occupied by locals at least in the early morning. Excellent omelet one morning. Average chicken fried steak on another morning. Friendly cook and staff.

Shy's is a local café style restaurant with friendly people and great food. Large servings fill you up and the price is fair. It's usually REALLY busy Sunday mornings so you might have to wait a little longer for service but it's worth it. Folks this is no Applebees or Dennys ... it's very much a small town atmosphere.

When the Middle Rogue Steelheader's Club or several of us we always stop at Shys Cafe for breakfast and they are very willing to get the order and serve us. The coffee is going and never an empty cup. We usually spend about an hour there and they are a perfect hoist. The food from pancake's to how do you... More

Size was later than needed... Price was beyond fair. Presentation looked good. The biscuits & gravy I was told was good & so was the chicken fried steak. My spinach mushroom omelette not do much. Never thought I'd need to ask if the tons on spinach used to fill it would be fresh spinach or frozen? Taste completely different! I... More

The people in Shys Restaurant are anything, but Shy. Waitress is fun, people are laughing, praying, kissing and hugging. It seems like a trip back to Mayberry. Good food at reasonable prices.and gluten Free bread for toast! 5 stars.

We had breakfast here. Food and service were both very good. The portions were very generous! Would definitely recommend.

We stopped in here for our "gettin' on the road" breakfast! We stayed at The Maple Leaf Motel. It was quite the adventure, because upon arrival, there had apparently been a little accident the night before! Someone had put their car in reverse instead of forward and ran into the wall out front. So, there was plenty of commotion and... More
