I was a bit surprised by the wait for a table, however, everyone leaving looked com-pletely happy and I heard a man raving about the tiramisu, which I love to death, so I kept waiting. One thing I wasn't crazy about was the fact that...I watched people who came long after I did getting seated. That bugged me, but not enough to give up, so I came inside and was seated fairly quickly. Honestly feared I would be turned away, and I watched some seriously delicious-looking food being brought to guests, so I was all-in by this point-plus, it was after 7PM. Once I was seated, service was prompt and excellent. I really wanted an appetizer, but everything looked way too large for me and I didn't want to spoil my dinner. And oh, what a dinner! I received the loveliest plate of Chicken Piccata, which I make at home-normally I won't order food in restaurants I cook myself, however, I just wanted the taste of lemon and capers. They could write sonnets about the deliciousness of this dish. So exceeded any expectation I had of good food, my meal was beyond greatness! There was a medley of vegetables that was so artfully assembled, I almost hated to eat it-but after the first taste, resistance was futile! How many times in life does one go for the veggies first? Not very often, I assure you, but I could have eaten another two or three servings. The dish was served with a side of spaghetti Alfredo and the creamy richness just steamrolled over my palate, again, I make Alfredo from a recipe handed down from two Italian friends-mine doesn't come close! And I spring for the good cheese and best ingredients, which Alfredo sauce demands. I would have licked my plate clean had I not been in public. The delicious bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was perfect for sopping up sauce, and I was well stuffed after getting through half my meal, so I ordered some to take home, as well as a tiramisu, which I had planned on saving. But the treat was calling to me from the mini-fridge, and I was completely hooked after two tastes-so much for waiting! Absolute perfection. This is a hit-it-out-of-the-ballpark experience for fans of real Italian food. Well done, Nonni's! I will certainly be back!More

Awesome food and service. Meatball sandwich was the best I’ve had. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and liked it as well. Highly recommend.

WOW. What can I say? The food…10/10. We each ordered a different entree and there wasn’t one word spoken throughout our dinner…it was THAT good! Following dinner, we were served with complimentary amaretto (such a nice touch). Finally, we indulged in the tiramisu and it...was HANDS DOWN the best tiramisu we’d ever had. Our server, Patricia, was so delightful and made our dining experience that much better. You don’t want to miss this one!More

We went there in March for an early dinner. It appeared the staff had not turned over and the food, as always, was outstanding. Their prices have gone up only slightly. Nice ambiance, pleasurable waitstaff, great wines!

We wanted to get away from seafood for dinner, and hit a home run at Nonni’s. Wow, a small and rather intimate location with a big menu, great service and nice wine list. Our party of 4 enjoyed Chicken Picatta and Beef Tenderloin strips. Delicious.

Unfortunately I wasn’t very hungry so I couldn’t order a delicious looking and smelling entree that I saw go to other customers. Instead I ordered the Bean and Spicy Sausage with Spinach soup and the Heirloom Tomato Caprese stack. The soup was tasty except for...a bean here and there that was undercooked and crunchy. I didn’t like the tomatoes that were sliced for the caprese salad. They were green and overly firm with little flavor. I think when tomatoes are in season it would be fine and I should’ve considered that. My husband enjoyed the pesto linguine. I will definitely give them another try when I’m hungry and can order one of their delicious looking entrees.More

Wow! Every other 5 I’ve ever given is now a 4. We waited about 20 minutes standing in the drizzle for a table. Totally worth it. These people really know what they are doing. Table bread to start and drinks were delicious! My husband is...still talking about his spaghetti and meatballs. I had the special salmon risotto and it was PERFECT. Our friend had the seafood Alfredo and raved. To finish the meal we all had a sip of amaretto, also smooth and delicious. Nice atmosphere and Danielle was so attentive and personable. Recommend for couples, dinner date, or business meeting. Kids would probably not appreciate it as much.More

I wrote a review of this restaurant 3 years ago and nothing has changed. The spicy sausage and bean soup is still fabulous. My wife go the chcken piccata and it was wonderful.. My fettucine alfredo was superb. The wine was just right, the bread...tasted of Italy itself. We lived in Naples for 3 years so we have the background to say that Nonni's is truly Italian and the food is authentic and leaves a smile on your face. Maria was our server and she was a joy. They don't take reservations but there is a pub on either side of it where you can wait for them to text you that you can be seated.More

We went very early to dinner (5 pm), but the restaurant was fairly crowded already. Tables too close together for comfort. The food was very good. We didn't linger to enjoy dessert though.

Barbara did a great job as our server. We had salad and then shared a plate of spaghetti and meatballs. The portions are huge. Wine list was good for individual glasses and they make a good old fashioned. I had panna cotta for desert. Nice...touch...they give you a free shot of either amaretto or licorice after dinner. We got there at 5 and by 5:30 there were folks waiting. They only have 9 tables and they take no reservation. Food and service were excellent.More
