We go to Seaside about once a month and we always eat at Riley's. I love their clam chowder and the hubby's steak is always done right. The waitstaff is awesome. They work to make our stay a good one. We have spent birthdays and...anniversaries there with no complaints.More

Great Breakfast! Ventured to Seaside from Cannon Beach to avoid the crowds and stumbled upon Riley’s. The perfect breakfast, great omelette and pancakes. Large portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Food and service were good. The decor could use some updating. Prices are on the higher side. We would try it again

This place has tasty food and awesome staff, they treat you like family. I will be coming back for bloody mary's and waffles, hopefully sooner rather than later. Cheers!

With my four day stay in Seaside, I ate there twice. I can recommend their pancakes, gravy and biscuits along with scrambled eggs or eggs over easy. The service is very good and noise level is moderate.

The place is well kept and extremely comfortable despite the signs of wear and tear. My spouse and I were impressed by how they maintained the place, so I went to Trip Advisor to read their reviews. They have lower scores from the older reviews...which tells me they faced some challenges in the past but it seems they are doing better know, which motivated me to ask the server if they had recently changed management. To my surprise, she said the restaurant was on her family for over 18 years; which tells me it is a local family business, which we are happy to support. My omelet was loaded with shrimp, with a side of hash browns and sourdough toast, and addition of guacamole. Me and the guacamole thing, I noticed later that was some grease oozing off of it as well as the hash browns. My spouse had their beachcomber and had no complaints. Good meal for the money.More

We arrived in Seaside after driving 8 hours & wanted to stop at the first restaurant we saw. We had never noticed Riley’s on previous vacations in Seaside but decided to try it. So glad we did! We all ordered different seafood meals & all...4 of us loved it! We always stick with the town favorites (like Doogers, Finn’s, etc.), but Riley’s was surprisingly good. Great waitress, good prices. We will definitely go back on future visits!More

Had a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast and hash browns, all were very good. My companions also liked their breakfast omelets. Recommend this place for breakfast in seaside.

We (me, my wife, friend Karen) had breakfast and dinner multiple times this past July and enjoyed every meal. Service was super; I believe her name was Chun; food was excellent, and prices were very reasonable. If we had stayed longer than a week we...would logged more meals at Riley's.More

My girlfriend and I ate here two years ago, so when I came back to Seaside this time, I ate all my meals at Riley's!! Since I was staying at Seaside for two nights, I ate both my breakfasts and dinners there!! Both Chun (my...server for breakfast) and Sarah (my server for dinner) made my visits and meals even better!! They each remembered what I had to drink with the first meals and brought them again with the second meals. The food there is awesome!! First night was halibut fish and chips with Diet Pepsi - halibut and chips for $14.95?? Excellent!! First breakfast the next morning - The No. 1 - the Meat Breakfast - 2 eggs, I chose bacon (4 slices!), hashbrowns and toast. Drank black coffee and small orange juice. Second dinner - good ol'fashioned comfort food - grilled hamburger steak with whipped potatoes & gravy, dish of veggies, garlic toast, and I chose a green salad (instead of soup), with my Diet Pepsi. A meal from years past. And, instead of grilled onions on the hamburger steak, I got to substitute raw onion! Second breakfast - two fluffy pancakes, 2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon (could have had 2 bacon and 2 sausage links or all 4 links) along with my coffee and orange juice. Chun and Sarah are top notch servers and they take care of all the customers - no matter how busy this place is!! Plan a meal or two when you're in Seaside next time. They are behind the Shilo Inn - East on Halladay! Yummy food!!! Great service!!!More

Very close to my hotel, the restaurant was old and run down but the food was great. Customer service was great. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want the crowds and prices of down town but still want a good meal and comfortable sit...down.More
