My wife and I had breakfast here today. Patty the Owner/Operater was awesome. Her restaurant is very quaint and right on the water. I had the Denver Omelete, it was delicious every think was fresh and made from scratch, even the Hashbrowns and Biscuits. My...wife had the Taco Omelete. She said it was the best she's had. Google Maps will take you to a row of buildings by the water/Bridge, her place is down the boardwalk on the right. You can park on the Bridge.More
Bring cash only or this owner will rant about the cost of credit cards. We didn't stay to even try the food. Perhaps the locals consider her quaint.
Outstanding breakfast! Patty is a beaut! Makes a normal breakfast extraordinary! She makes everything from scratch…(homemade biscuits straight from the oven!) Nothing but yum! Exceeded our expectations!
All the restaurants in Seaside are busy this month, but only a few are really worth waiting for. Patty's has only a few (COVID) tables and Patty herself does all the cooking and serving. I thoroughly enjoyed my corned beef hash &eggs; my wife loved...her buckwheat pancakes. Coffee was good, as well. On the east side of the bridge just a few steps off Broadway! Don't miss it - breakfast and lunch only, no weekends!More
Wonderful little place. Excellent service and food down home fantastic. The gravy was peppery like I like...yum.
Great little place to grab a coffee, sandwich or desert, friendly staff, a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Only one table for four. We were 5. Would not push tables together. Very weird. Suggested we sit at 3 different tables.
We heard great things about this place. It is Veterans Day & they did offer Veterans half off their meal. It was slow and only 2 other tables with people. I ordered the Ham & Cheese Omelet with Hash browns & my wife the quiche....The food was ok but not special. There was one waitress who really never checked on us. Maybe lunch is better.More
TripAdvisor and other sites show Patty's as Open. Sign on door shows CLOSED on Saturdays and Sundays. Perhaps they are Open more during the Summer. Seaside is a Tourist town, after all.
We get to Seaside a few times a year and make Patti’s a stop. I’m a fan of her quiche. This time, it was about as good as a frozen one. Runny in the middle, came to me cold. Had to ask for them to...warm it. Crust was not flaky as usual and was somewhat moist and rubbery. Not sure I’ll keep coming.More
A great place for breakfast. We were lucky there was a table . Very small area. Food was excellent and a lot of it. I had a fruit cup and Wow all fresh fruit! Huge variety. The cook said she picks the fruit daily. A...must.More
Walking in, its a cozy pleasant place with an excellent location. The tables have quaint cloth table covers. The young lady taking our order seemed pleasant but could not break a smile! We ordered veggie omelets, a waffle, & French toast - for a family...of 4. We asked for a biscuit with the eggs rather than toast but were told that they were out. While waiting for our food, we observed others being served omelets and waffles; well made waffles and large plates for omelets with a mound of hash brown. We felt relieved that we had planned to share the eggs and hash brown among us. We were the last in the restaurant to be served - made sense as we were the last to have ordered. It was not a long wait - the French toast arrived first. Looked great - a little plain but it was good. The omelets looks great - smaller that what others had with hash browns scattered on the plates. Ok...no big deal. We didn't really need too many potatoes. Omelets were well made - delicious! The waffle was the last to arrive - it was under cooked. It was very plain! They did provide two types of syrup - maple & Marion berry. And the freezer jam for the toast was awesome. There were no refills for the coffee for our table but noticed that it was available for others. Patty did come out of the kitchen to talk with some diners - not us. In short, its a pleasant place in a great location with a great menu and reasonably priced. And for some clients its great food and great service. For us, the food was good but the service was not. it has the potential to be the best little breakfast place in this vacation town but we will not try to find out. They had their shot to be great for us today.More
Patty herself was the only person in the Cafe when we arrived... She offers a good menu choice, and there were several tables of locals there chatting with her when she refilled their coffee cups... The bacon was peppered and flavorful... the eggs were done...as ordered and the toast and hash browns were done as ordered. My wife had the Ham and eggs and received a generous piece of ham..She has been in this area a long time as we discussed that the last time we were in Seaside was in the 80's... she had worked for one of our favorite spots back then... Don't fall for the tourist aimed Pigs n' Pancakes... this place is much better.More
My wife and I stopped in to try a new local restaurant in Seaside. It is a very small restaurant with few tables. Our waiter was great. Very friendly and helpful. We had the homemade biscuits and I had the corned beef hash. They were...both excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We will returnMore
