We’ve been visiting Seaside for years. This was our first visit to Billy Mac’s. The lemonade was packed not freshly squeezed, the handmade chips were store bought ($7.00), the coleslaw is good (not great) the Mahi-mahi is good but small. Overall I’d rate it it C+.

Great spot hidden away in seaside. We had the mahi-mahi fish and chips (hard to find) and a burger with fries. Burger was done smashed style with edges slightly crispy. Wonderful. Fish and chips were very good and the coleslaw was great. Could not recognize all the flavors, but worth going just for that. Nice selection of beers too.

Came here for a later dinner. There was only one server/bartender but the crowd was small and she was friendly and efficient.
The menu is American and Mexican. Plenty to choose from. The food was basic but good and served warm and the price was fair.
We will go back and try other things in the future.

I've eaten here twice and walked out the last time (6/5/21). I own a house in the area and used to come to the prior version of this place (U Street Pub... a lot).
If you can get served, the food is fine...OK. Avoid the nachos. Burger is decent. Nicely re-modled and has enjoyable outside seating. If the tide is in you can hear it when sitting outside.
The service is very under-staffed. Downright horrible on the wrong night. When this place came back, under new ownership, as Billy Macs, it lost all of the prior charm of being a neighborhood pub. It is now just another load bar in Seaside slinging average food to loud patrons who like to gamble on lotto machines.
Probably best to come here earlier in the day before they get busy. When were were there, they only had one server and one person in the bar area trying to serve a full house. They'll either change and get their act together or lose loyal people like us to the better bars (there are many) in Seaside.
Also, no kids allowed. This has added to the loud and lowbrow atmosphere of this place.

It's a neighborhood bar with a nice vibe. But most of the food is poor to mediocre.
The weekend bartenders/servers (they do double duty) are friendly and efficient. The weekday ones are not.
After trying many things on the menu, I can recommend the wedge salad and the quesadilla. Avoid the pulled pork, burgers, nachos, and soggy fries. I tried the cheese sticks once, and they were served with cold marinara.

First time at this eatery, was impressed with size and variety on the menu. Food server was quite friendly and efficient. Food portions and price seemed quite appropriate.

Stopped by for dinner & a drink. Husband had steak, and I had a burrito. Food was delicious; service good. Indoor/outdoor seating. Great tavern atmosphere.

We were worried when we saw that the Avenue U Pub had changed hands, but Billy Mac's is really great, with a good selection of beers, and fast service on top-quality pub fare, served by a personable staff member.

Lunch today. Vern had the eggs, sausage, home potatoes and I had a shrimp taco on flour tortilla. Nice local feel, screens, bar, games in rear.
