I don’t write many reviews, but our lunch was so good it compelled me to write this while I sit on our balcony above the beach. Visited for lunch on Thursday July 2nd. Due to Covid, we opted for take out, but there are a few safely distanced tables to sit down. Everybody (mom dad and kids 17 & 20) loved their sandwich. They were happy to substitute cheeses from their menu, so everybody got exactly what they wanted. Dad got the Hot Bouy 10 sandwich (roast beef w/horseradish) w/Swiss & hot aujus & Ivan’s clam chowder, Mom got the Summer Breeze (turkey&ham&bacon) w/cheddar, Son got Tillamook Rock (turkey&bacon), & vegetarian Daughter got the Necanium River. All excellent with the correct amount of mayo and moistness. All wrapped up and labeled properly for home. Price is reasonable too. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended!!

The staff was friendly and professional. Sandwiches were great! I got the Tsunami Pastrami and my wife got the Sand Dollar - their version of grilled cheese. She says it's the best grilled cheese she's ever had. Goes well when you dip it in their amazing clam chowder! They do it right! Great flavor and sizeable chunks of clam. It would make an amazing national chain. It's too bad it's only here in Seaside! I would come here all the time if I lived here.
So short summary: if you love deli style sandwiches, hot or cold, this is the place to go. An easy 5 stars!

If you like good sandwiches, this is the GoTo place in Seaside. Not only a huge, delicious selection, but super friendly staff. Check out their menu online before you go, because making a choice is harder than you might think!

We stopped in for a quick bite of lunch. This place was pretty busy and had a great menu, we ordered a 1/4 hot dog with mustard, onions and sauerkraut. Our order came out pretty quickly, but what we got was a very long hotdog on a bun 1/2 the length of the hotdog, with a squirt of mustard, 1 tsp of onion and a tbsp of sauerkraut. What a disappointment, we would have had a better hotdog at Costco.

Let's get real. There is nothing special about a sanwich unless the ingredients are high quality. These sandwiches were decent, but nothing a teenager couldn't put together in 10 minutes in the average American kitchen. That might be ok for some travelers, but the price and marketing are stupid: nine dollars US for a grilled cheese with a slice of turkey sold as "The Stormwatchter". Just be honest: "greasy grilled cheese with lunch meat sold to you to at five times our cost".
And so on with the rest of the sandwich and meal options. The clam chowder was decent, but nothing special at 6 dollars a (small) bowl.
I will say the service staff was very courteous.
No restrooms on premise.

Let's be real. The Stormwatcher has a 1/4 lb. Of Thumann's turkey, bacon, tomato, and Tillamook cheddar, grilled on sourdough. It includes a bag of chips and served about 100ft from the beach. We serve world famous Ivar's clam chowder and are proud to do so.

after ordering I was told by the women that was suppose to be making the sandwiches to push my mask up. Maybe the top part of my nose was exposed. The order was to go. while making the sandwiches her nose was hanging out of her mask. the sandwiches were dry, barely any sauce, barely any meat, no tomatoes or onion and missing cheese on half. We have always looked forward to eating here on our beach visit as the sandwiches have always been wonderful, but this experience was horrible. It is to bad we had the order to go and we did not discover what she had done while there. I have contacted them with no reply.

Was looking for something different. Decided to stop. Gal that took our order was nice. Observed people picking up the hot dogs with their hand, no gloves, no tongs. Bit gross. Had I saw that before we ordered, we would have left. Also, noticed girl cutting meat. No gloves on. She stopped at one point to answer the phone, then went right back to cutting meat. No hand washing in between. When we watched her clean the machine she grabbed a wet rag that had been sitting on the counter since we got there. Again, gross. I feel bad for anyone who ordered a sandwich. I read the owners response to another review who witnessed the same thing and I get that gloves might not be required in Oregon but you could use tongs, paper towels to wipe down equipment, maybe have just the person not handling food could answer the phone. Take the review for what it is, someone's experience wether good or bad. Just take what we say and do better. With Covid, not doing better could lead to someone getting really sick. I definitely won't be back.

We decided last minute that we wanted to try this sandwich shop. Although there was only 20 minutes until close, the staff was very friendly and energized to have us! My husband and I both ordered cold sandwiches. Great experience and great sandwiches!

food was expensive but good, however Shannon is extremely rude. she complained when my service dog that's training came in then i started getting an alert from my dog licking my hand and jumped on my lap as i was sitting. and she yelled from behind the bar SERVICE DOGS DONT SIT ON LAPS. and I mean YELLED. actually he does, hes learning to alert me for my seizures. Dont be rude and embarrass me in front of everyone. my dog is well behaved and trained and that was unnecessary and uncomfortable. I will not be coming back here ever because she was outright rude.
