Stopped here a few times - great fresh fish (purchased salmon to cook at home); purchased canned clam chowder starter to use as a base for the clams we caught and used in soup; great fish and chips from the restaurant. This place is unassuming,...More
We go to Seaside once a year and always make sure to stop at the Bell Buoy. First off, it’s attached to a fresh fish market, so everything is very fresh. We always have the halibut fish & chips and the chowder. The fish is...More
We drove out to Seaside last Friday to buy fish from the market part of this business. Understand, there are two parts - the seafood market - where you can get phenomenal smoked and pickled fish, oysters and shrimp, along with fresh seafood, and then...More
Buoy's Best Seafood, next to the Buoy's Market is a super casual, great restaurant for seafood. Their clam chowder is great. It tops everyone else in town. Wonderful flavors. The seafood is fresh as it comes from the market attached. We got chowder to go...More

We planned our road trip to the Oregon coast and thought it would be nice to stop here for a quick lunch. The tuna melt and crab cakes were the best we’ve ever had. So good, we booked a hotel in town so we could...More
Made a quick drive by for some road food and grabbed some smoked salmon jerky in their store. Bought 2 kinds - teriyaki and peppered. Enjoyed both. Teriyaki could have used more brine to suit my taste, but still very good. Next time through I'll...More
The reviews we read when looking for seafood in Seaside pointed us here.
I asked for a recommendation, and was told I couldn't go wrong with the halibut. So correct!
A large cut of fish fried to perfection, but perfectly juicy and tender inside. Thoroughly...More
Outstanding and a favorite of our trip! Best fish and chips. Also took home several options of fresh seafood. Friendly and looks almost family owned. Love the iconic sign. Easy to get to just out of the heart of Seaside.

Hi, Christina - lucky you - Christmas is Seaside!! I believe many of the restaurants will be open Christmas Eve (dine early as many will also close early). I know that we have had Christmas Eve dinner at Norma's Seafood & Steak (consistently good food) - Norma's is right downtown, just off Broadway. 503-738-4331 I think you'll actually find plenty open on Christmas Eve - Christmas Day will be tougher. We always check with the hotel restaurants as they usually have accommodations for their holiday customers. You could also consider driving in to Cannon Beach or even Astoria where I'm sure you'll find several Christmas Day options. Your hotel may have a list of open restaurants as well. Good luck and have a wonderful Christmas holiday!
