The fish we had was fresh and very good. The service was good. We sat outside on patio next to the creek. It was not fancy but nice.

These people have been there for years and they know seafood! I grew up in the area and we used to come down here all the time to get fresh delicious seafood. Back then they didn’t have a restaurant and I was so happy to...finally get to try the restaurant. Two of us shared a five piece cod and chips and they were kind enough to give us double of everything as far as tartar, lemons, cole slaw etc…. We didn’t even have to ask! We also visited the seafood market and got enough fresh crab 🦀 meat to make two delicious crab cocktails. We were waited on by a sassy gal that we just loved! Glad the Buoy 🛟 has been floating well all these years!More

Best crab cakes we’ve ever had while on the Oregon and Washington coast. They were huge! Smoked salmon chowder was good too. It’s a small restaurant but with amazing food! We personally thanked the chef in the back for his amazing crab cakes! We will...definitely be back the next time we are in vacation.More

We are Oregonians displaced to Boston MA during pandemic. Longtime customers of Bell Buoy but was unsure of the quality of crab they would send via an online order for 6 dungeness. We received the most beautifully cleaned, fresh, and tasty crab, just like you'd...get if you bought in Seaside. Delicious! Texture superb (ie, not mushy) ! What a treat for us in New England where lobsta and blue crab reign. We are ordering again for an extended family dinner. Shipping cost is high but well worth it. Treat yourself!More

Generous serving size of fresh cod, with wonderful light breading and cooked perfectly. Friendly service. Will definitely return on next visit to the area.

This was the best and freshest fish and chips I’ve had in seaside! The salmon was so good and it was probably about almost a pound of fish for $16. I got 2 meals out of it. This place isn’t anything fancy but it’s so...fresh and good. Definitely worth visiting!More

The best hand battered cod I've eaten on the norther Oregon coast. Get there early as they try to close now at 4:45. Dine in is limited to a few tables. They have some outside seating.

Nothing fancy but in my opinion, the restaurant located next door to the fish market has the best fish and chips in the area. The batter is so good. It really enhances the fish and the folks behind the counter are so welcoming and attentive....You can eat inside or sit at the outdoor tables overlooking a stream running to the ocean. I brought a friend with me who had been to the market before but did not know the restaurant existed. This is now her favorite place to eat at well.More

Kind of a side piece to the seafood market next door, We almost drove past not knowing they served prepared food. It's a "order at the counter" place. The counter guys were very friendly, we asked for suggestions, being from out of town. Captains platter,...and the chowder. Both were amazing, and I would suggest the same. Quickly prepared, condiments on the counter. Not fancy, but I have had seafood on this coast many times and I would rate it among the freshest and best prepared. You can't get fresher seafood. If you want authentic, fresh seafood, well prepared, this is the place. My only regret is I didn't get any of the crab selections. I would definitely return. Close to Warrenton, Astoria, Seaside. Don't miss it!More

So, we have visited Bell Bouy in the past years always getting the crab melt. Always delicious. This last time we visited the price was really high and the amount of crab was miniscule. Extremely disappointing. I know restaurants are trying to recover from the...pandemic but at what cost. We probably won't return. Sad.More

I cannot go to Seaside without at least one visit to Bell Buoy. Grab lunch to go then drive out on the sand for a great lunch with a view. Always fresh, always cooked perfectly. The seafood market is also great, try the canned smoked...tuna.More

The crab cakes were large and filled with crab. I would order them again. The battered cod was fresh and delicious. They only offer smoked salmon chowder and it was cold and the coleslaw did not taste fresh. Due to Covid restrictions we had to...sit outside. Luckily we had beach towels we could sit on since the seats were wet. Countertop had bird poop. I doubt I would go back.More

We love visiting Seaside and of course we have seafood. Hands down, the best seafood is here. Love the variety of menu choices. With COVID, we’ve used online ordering. Perfect since we are only 15 minutes away.

We came to try the Fish and Chips and the clam Chowder based on all the good reviews this place has received on trip advisor. The reviews did not fail. The food was great. I believe for you got a good amount of food for...the cost. The Cod was good. The slaw was great. I wanted to try the clam chowder but both days we tried to get it it was not being served. ( we where disappointed in this.) They did serve a very good smoked salmon chowder that we did try. I am guess that they couldn't sell fresh chowder because the calming on the coast was closed due to high toxin levels. I could be wrong but I would like to think this would be the reason why you couldn't sell something as huge as great homemade clam chowder. I still gave 5 stars because the fish did not disappoint. It was GREAT.More

The crab, shrimp, oysters are sold fresh to take home from their store next door, along w other NW fish. The cafe cooks the same fish . You could ask when there to guarantee what you want is local .
