The only downside to this place is that they aren't open for dinner! And you have to bring cash, or write a check. It's definitely worth it, to go for lunch. Wonderful, colorful, tasty food, for great prices! Very generous portions, with fresh produce, and good guacamole! Another great place to eat in Seaside. We will definitely go back on... More

Ended up here by lucky accident. We were following our GPS to the place across the street and noticed a lot of people in the Stand so gave it a try. Glad we did. We both had carnitas tacos, they were delicious and so much pork we had to start with a fork. Homemade tortillas too. The pork tamale was... More

This is some of the best authentic mexican food I've had in the States. The verde burrito is excellent. Lots of pork, and no fat. This is the most reasonably priced place I've found in Seaside, and is my favorite place, so far. Too bad they close at 5 pm on week days, and closed on weekends.

This place draws us back, and we think it worth the 69 mile drive from home. It's an unassuming place, order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Very flavorful and meat is perfectly prepared. They have vegetarian offerings, as well, and will prepare... More

There are two Mexican joints across the street from each other in Seaside; one is always full of people, and the other is usually pretty empty. The Stand is the one that is full, and for good reason. The food is good, the service is good, and even though you have to pay in cash, it is totally worth it.... More

Unassuming on the outside, delicious on the inside! A traditional menu in terms of what you can order, but each option seems to have a nice and delicious twist on it. Delicious ingredients and spices; soooo much better than any chain restaurant! Large portions, reasonably priced and great service. I MUST go back. Cash or check only so come prepared!

This has been a favorite eatery since the 80s when it used to be on the other side of town. The food is good, cheap, and fast but healthy (cooked in vegetable oil). My favorites change, but include nachos, the veggie quesadilla (with zucchini, bell peppers, onion, and celery), or black beans (pinto available too) and rice with something else.... More

Ok maybe it depends on where you grew up and ate Mexican food. I grew up in Oklahoma and Texas. We believe in cheese. So I don't want to give it a bad review because I see many people loved it. Not me. We ordered an assortment of 6 things and sorry but i had to search for cheese .... More
