Food is consistently good here. Nothing fancy but you'll be satisfied by a broad enough menu to pick from and generous portions...but not too big. Location is a couple blocks of the main drag, which is a plus.

This family run place offers excellent/delicious food that is full of flavor. My favorite is their open-face vegetable/pork burrito on corn tortillas. What a treat.
Always fresh and flavorful. We have been going here for years. Love the cook and his wife. You can buy their enchilada sauce. I love the flavor of the chicken in their dishes.
This is a basic-looking diner, with a few tables and a 'take-out' zone. However, it is truly delicious food, the meats are spiced and slow-roasted to perfection. So even if you are just getting a Burrito or a Tostada or Taco, the fillings are slow-roasted...perfection! My compliments to whoever takes the long-time to spice and roast the meats. Very tasty!! This will be a must-stop for us on Oregon Coast trips!More
This is a legit tacos/burritos joint in Seaside, OR. Nothing to speak off on the outside but the food is on point. Real chunky carne asada (good char and just a boat load of meat). The Americano taco was basically their regular taco with lettuce...and a bit of cheese. The burrito is a big flour tortilla and just tipped over. So, a bit of a mess (as one would typically expect a burrito to be folded. Regardless - just a really tasty tacos. One point less for the price point.... About $3.5 to $ 3.95 for a taco and about $ 8 bucks for a burrito (which is fine. Tacos price is a bit high)More
To go only during the COVID-19 pandemic. Same great quality as always. Jose' and his wife have stated NO TIPS during this time. Save the money for your own needs. They are amazing people that serve consistently high quality meals. Have been for 30 years!
We have eaten here several times with the latest being on a another trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon. Seaside where The Stand is located is about 15 minutes north of Cannon Beach, and we eat here any time we are in the area. First heard...of it on a previous trip on Yelp, where it got well deserved excellent reviews. You cannot go wrong with this diner that appears to be in an old, maybe gas station. The food is excellent, the portions large, and it has never been disappointing. Don’t miss it.More
Ate lunch here after reading lots of good reviews. Order at the counter and food is delivered to your table. NOTE: Cash or Check Only. Be prepared. We had pork verde enchiladas a la carte and chicken tostada. Both were very good. Returned to order...chips and salsa after placing original order and both chips and meal arrived at the same time. Lots of small pieces in the chip basket. Red and green sauces were both on the table in a bucket of ice. Good to see. Overall we like this place and will return to try other items. Saw burritos delivered to other tables and they were huge, enough for two.More
OK, I should not write a review based on one taco, but it was really good. We had a mediocre lunch at the Mexican place across the street and so wanted to try this one and bought a taco. It actually weighed about 3/4 pound...for around $3.50 and came with 3 salsas. The carnitas was in chunks and was juicy and well spiced. Place had ample seating which I did not see in the pictures. Woman at the counter was very friendly and offered cups of water while we waited. Will go again soon.More
Full Combo Burrito and don't look back!ef Ample sized oh yeah. Toritilla has a very nice smoky singe. Nice Pico ,sour cream and black beans in a delicious a jus . Best burrito in my first 66 years.
We love The Stand! They have the best Mexican food on the Oregon Coast, and the prices are incredible! Love their homemade salsa and hot sauce!
The homemade tortillas were great! we received a lot of food for the price we paid. I had leftovers for 2 days.
We've eaten here twice in two days. It's delicious and reasonably healthy. The handmade tortillas and pork with cabbage is so good. The leftover rice and salsa are great for eggs the next morning. They only take cash, although they went ahead and made it...anyway and we paid at pick up.More
A local fave off the beaten path. Only open on weekdays and they only accept cash or check. Longtime owners are a wonderful family who create delicious food! Our favorites include anything with their carne asada (we do both tacos and have them put it...on a salad), pork verde enchilada plate, fish tacos, chicken and veggie quesadilla (the veggies are huge chunks of grilled veg...sooo good), pork and cabbage tacos, and of course you need a side of guacamole with most items! Highly recommend.More
I came to this place because of the #1 rating of Mexican places in the area, and I was not disappointed as I had an excellent meal and will be back.
