Homemade Salt Water Taffy - Amazing

We felt like honored guests from the moment we walked into this place. We stopped here to hopefully find some good salt water taffy after trying two places on the coast that weren't so great. When we walked in, we found a very nice store that looked almost brand new. The taffy selection was not huge, but since it was home made we knew we needed to try some. We were asked if we had any questions or needed assistance and I explained that we had tried some other taffy that wasn't so great from some other establishments. What happened next shocked me! We were told - sample ours! Try them all - see if you like them! We felt so welcomed, after trying a couple we decided to load up with two bags! This is a great place to get some Taffy to bring home as gifts as well. They have nice packaging and seal the bags with a Phillips sticker. It's a great gift to bring back especially if on a budget. Prices are very reasonable based on the quality you get.

Excellent Candy Shop

An original homemade candy shop, Phillips offers candy and more. They make salt water taffy on the premises, along with fudge and many other candies. They also make popcorn and caramel corn. We were given a small sample of the caramel corn, and we tried it after we left. We immediately went back to buy a pound! It was fresh and delicious, and we are still enjoying it a week later.

Wonderful customer service, tasty treats and samples too

We started to go in and realized they were close to closing. They invited us in anyways and gave us samples. The staff here were SO very kind to both me and my two children! This shop is very clean and well kept, seems much nicer than some of the others. They make their own taffy, fudge, kettle corn. Thank you and we will be back next time!

Soft Tasty Taffy

We enjoyed the variety taffy bags. The small bags have 2/3 of each flavor and the larger bags have 5 of each flavor. Each flavor is very distinctive and is still super soft! The employees didn’t bat an eye when my punch drunk toddler and his brother decided they were pirates.

Delicious Carmel Corn

This place has been on Broadway for many years, and in the last couple of years has gone through a complete, while maintaining the high quality of Carmel corn, candies and other treats.

The Latte was wonderful

There are only 2 tables in the window. We enjoyed a nice warm 45 mins sipping coffee and nibbling on yummy chocolates on a cold, wintery day. Very clean and quiet! Heartily recommend.

Huge selection of Old Fashion Candy

Great Sweet Shop

Every time I travel to Oregon..I go to Seaside.. and Phillips is one of my favorite Stops... I load up on Kettle corn.. Chocolates... and there is such a variety of old fashioned candy .. it is hard to choose from.. the staff is very friendly and the whole atmosphere in Seaside is Americana... people are so nice and friendly... and when I come back to Seaside, I make sure I go to Phillips

We Always Stop Here while in Seaside!

For the past three years we've been to the annual Ham Radio conference, we always stopped at this confectionary place to pick up a selection of chocolates. The store is always clean, smells wonderful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Granted, $26/lb for chocolates is a mite bit steep but hell, its worth it plus more. Hubby bought the candy this time so I was just getting a few pieces. Next time, I'm buying a whole lot more. The candy lasted us for the entire weekend. Perfect for a sweet craving here and there and it's freshly made...yum!

It's just the best taffy

You can get salt-water taffy in many places but Phillips is the best. It's home made and they have been doing it for decades. And their seafoam candies are the stuff of memories. Oh and their caramel corn isn't bad either. I dare you to leave without something!

Great Candy Made on Premises

This is a terrific little candy shopping the heart of Seaside. In addition to excellent candy sections, high quality offerings and a very friendly staff - they make their chocolates right on the premises. I high recommend!
