I ordered the Seasider burger with fries. The burger was pretty good with bacon wrapped around onion & Swiss cheese. Fries were average. I’d like to go back & try those garlic Parmesan fries as they got my attention. A pretty good crowd for lunch. Lots of outdoor seating available & as of this writing a nice day to use that. There’s a free ChargePoint EV charger in the parking lot if you have a plug-in car. Check it out if you’re on the North Coast.

I went in wanting steak and ended up getting a chicken ceaser salad kind of worried it wouldn't be satisfying. It was THEE best salad I think I have ever had! The building is open to the trails that lead to a river and there is seating and corn hole outside. Super fun atmosphere and they even have a little dish of water outside if your dog needs some water coming in from your walk. Loved it and hope to go back!

We stopped here for dinner after a long drive from Washington to Seaside. The kids were starving and so were we. Pleasantly surprised by their delicious options. My husband had the Club, I had a Burger and kids had Chicken strips and Grilled cheese. Everything was yummy, well made and came quick. We thought their beer options were cheap and tasty. They were super kind as well. Place was clean and I loved the Ruby lit sign in their main dining area. Would definitely go again!

The food used to be good and now it isn’t.
The Brussel sprouts had a wonderful mix of whole grain mustard, bacon & sunflower seeds and now they just taste bland.
No matter how many times I ask for “crispy fries” they give us limp, pale, tasteless ones (we call them “lunch room fries” yes, they are that bad) & I season them & put them under the broiler at home so that I don’t have to throw them out.
Last visit the “Artisan grilled cheese” hardly had any cheese at all and the added bacon (that used to be big yummy strips) is now just tiny leftover looking bits.
Oh, and the “ribs on Saturday” are always sold out before mid afternoon - - why not cook more????
We’re not stopping anymore because it’s just a waste of money & disappointment.

Had the prime rib/baked potato/asparagus dinner special Friday 06NOV2020. Prime rib was very good, but the asparagus had an unusual flavor, tasted like pickled asparagus that had been grilled. I only ate one spear because I didn't like the taste. My wife ate several. Both of us got the trots a couple of hours later. My wife never has stomach issues, but she was up several times in the night. Won't eat there ever again.

We’re from TN, just in town a few days, & wanted a really good burger. Reading reviews led us to Ruby’s, and she did not disappoint. We each ordered Ruby’s Deluxe with the smoky sauce. My hubby ordered crinkle fries & I got the tots. Everything was cooked to perfection. I wouldn’t change a thing. We live just a few hours from Nashville, so the country music they were playing made us feel right at home. We felt $12.95 for each generous dinner was more then reasonable. Ruby’s hit a home run!

Stopped here on our trip from Seattle to Cannon Beach. I have to say I am a fan of diner food and this place exceeded all expectations. Patty melts are my weakness and the one served here is humongous and delicious. Spot one. My company got the burger and garlic parm fries and was thrilled. We shared also shared onion rings which were superb! The owners were lovely and the atmosphere is relaxing and spotless. Which they were in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend!!!

Six of us had dinner here (4 adults, 2 children) while visiting Seaside and enjoyed the causal setting in a converted gas station that's now an open air restaurant. There's inside picnic table and stool seating, and outside seating around a long open gas fire pit. The place was busy with summer weekend crowds, but staff were friendly and patient. Food was yummy...within our family group we had fish and chips, burger baskets and kid meals. Prices were very reasonable. We would definitely eat here again when in the area.

Orders fish & chips which was satisfactory, also order the Ruby's turkey bacon club. Requested a few alterations and was highly sickened and disappointed with the quality. Literally looks like they threw the sandwich in the container. The lettuce was wet, warm and slimy. They did refund the sandwich.

I have recently relocated to the North Coast and went to Ruby's with a friend for lunch.
There is a large menu to order from. You place your order from a counter and food is brought to your table. Service was friendly and fairly quick.
There is also an outside patio and picnic tables and corn hole in the back of the restaurant to enjoy when the weather allows.
My friend and I split a Ruben (large portion) - which was very good. However, the tots we had with it were amazing! They were crispy and crunchy and delicious.
When I go back I may just order tots!

Ruby's is a fun place to eat. It is on the south side of town just a short walk from where I was staying. You can tell this place was an old gas station and repair shop. They have done up the place nicely. Very simple, but nice. The staff is very friendly and the place is very dog friendly. Don't be surprised if you see dogs inside as well. Most of the menu is burgers and sandwiches. I ordered the Seasider Burger for something different. Bacon wrapped onion, Swiss, and smoky sauce turned out excellent. It is always a treat to find fun places with great food. Seaside has one with Ruby's.

It may be well be these ARE the best burgers on the planet … as per their website. Lots of tomatoes and onions and pickles and lettuce .. plus great cooked meat. The owner Candace stopped by to check how We’l the meal was and we had a nice chat. BTW Ruby is her dog!
She said come back Friday night for prime rib!

2 stars because customer service could use some well needed work. Tables wernt being cleaned nor sanitized as people left... the table next to us was gross and dirty. Food was alright but definitely wont be going back

Perfect unassuming place to grab a beer, milkshake and a beer! When I say this is a must do, I’m not kidding! Came in here hurried and stressed, and left happy, content and at peace. The beer is fab, had a good girl and the hubs had a Fort George IPA. Can’t recommend this place enough, make the stop at this “gas station!” Clean, great service and excellent food & beer!! Owner even stayed and chatted for a while!0

We absolutely loved this local spot!! Laidback and relaxing environment. Great vibes, great comfort food, and even had vegetarian options! Veggie and black bean burgers were good with lots of good toppings/sauces, tater tots and crinkle fries also super good. Local beers on draft and loved the merchandise! If you are in Seaside, you should definitely visit!
