We were recommended this restaurant by family members. We went there and walked in the door and found the ceiling leaking water and pails were all over the entryway. I was skeptical of it, but they were having a problem with the water cooler so no problem. We understood that. The waitress did say that they had found a new... More

No frills straight up Americanized Mexican food for those of you who like your enchilada, bean and rice combo plates. AND terrific real Mexican specialities and daily specials (cactus salad, squid tacos!) Good prices, big boozy drinks and friendly service.

We have gone here off and on for years. The food is ok, especially for a small town. The burrito yucatan is supposed to be a pork dish. The last two times we ordered it, my husband and I both swear it was shredded beef instead of pork. Humm- not cool. The service- it all depends on who you get.... More

Hadn't been here for quite a while. Found the food very good, price good, and ambiance good too, even a bit better than last time. Wait staff attentive and helpful. Served a large party while we were there and we were not neglected nor distracted by it. Definitely plan to return.

Food is ok, but main waiter distracted by TV. Haven't returned, other restaurants are better. Unfortunately the town of Sandy lacks better choices.

Mediocre at best. Waitress hurries you through meal. Can not relax. Too much interaction. Too many questions. Too expensive for regular type meal where everything tastes the same. When you have already had excellent Mexican food elsewhere - this is a mediocre experience. I like to relax when I dine. We were hurried the entire time through the whole meal.... More

Horrible service, always dirty environment with sticky tables and booths, food is always greasy and heavy and bland. Drinks are too sweet and over priced. For some reason went back time and time again every so often in hopes that they had cleaned up but it hasn't happened! MUCH better place up the Mountain that is worth the drive from... More

The cheap price reflects the quality of the food and service. They don't close until 10:00 pm which is great as most other places close earlier. We got better service from the two young ladies (hostess/bussers?) than the owner / manager or our (old-dude) waiter. Had either young lady waited on us, the tip would have been substantially larger. They... More

We almost always stop at this little restaurant when traveling thru Sandy. The food is ok. Not the best I have ever had but far from the worst. The service does seem to be lacking. The prices are ok. I do not think it is authentic Mexican fair.... I have travelled in Mexico!!! However like I said we do go... More
