On the way home from the mountain we always stop here. Order a burger and can dress it all how you like or pick from one of the many great choices, but the best is the mike shakes- just had the mountain berry- needed a spoon to eat it!

We stopped in on a break from our trip back from Mt Hood. Had the battered mushrooms, the appetizer was enough to feed a small family on its own. Shared both the mushrooms and the Bacon Bleu Burger, plenty of food. We did feel it was kinda expensive as the bill was about $25 for two, no drinks. The inside... More

Very good food. Good variety of food to choose. Very accomodating for special diets. Great atmosphere. Loved all the dollar bills on the ceiling.

We stopped in her after a hike at Ramona Falls. The place was packed on a Sunday late afternoon. The malts/shakes are huge and really too much for just one person. There were three in our party. We ordered two burgers with fries and two shakes. The bill was $30 bucks which I think is a bit too much. The... More

The service at this place is decent, but the real reason to come is for the burgers. They have an absolutely huge list of burger options, all at really great prices. The fries that come with the burgers are also extremely delicious. They even have a 'burger bar' with condiments for the burgers if you want to add extras on your... More

Not only great hamburgers and French fries, but the meatloaf special was sold out and looked fabulous. Our party of 4 all wanted the meat loaf, but there was only one left. The staff are super nice too.

We moved to Portland, OR, about one year ago, and had heard of this restaurant half-way to Mt. Hood in Sandy, OR. We finally made it last week to satisfy our curiosity. Having been told in advance that it was a very popular restaurant, we made reservations for early on a Saturday evening. We arrived and took the last available... More

This is a great place to take the family. My husband and I stopped on our way to Portland on a whim. They have a huge selection of burgers. They also have sandwiches and salads. I usually have a salad but decided since it was a burger place to order a burger. Great choice! I had the mushroom, Swiss cheese... More

We had lunch at Calamity Jane's and were delighted as always. The burgers are big and you can dress your burger up at the condiment stand. There's quite an extensive selection of burgers - some that would be interesting to try. The fries are outstanding!! Fries have a coating on them that is crispy and very tasty. Well worth the... During a recent stay in Welches, OR, my wife and I passed Calamity Jane's many times as we drove to various parts of the state. Try as I to avoid it, with its old school flashing marquee lights and kitschy old-west saloon look, we found ourselves pulling in to the almost empty parking lot. We were both amazed at the... More
