We stopped for lunch. The place was very busy, and, now, we understand why. I had their Kahlua pulled pork sandwich, which juicy, tender and delicious. It came with a wonderful blackberry barbecue sauce that was a nice compliment. My daughter had a coconut curry butternut squash soup, and the wild pear salad. My wife also had that salad, but... I have lunch here every couple of months and I haven't had a bad meal in several years of eating here. I'm partial to the quiche and soup of the day. The coconut curry soup is absolutely delicious. It's a very popular spot and you need to allow yourself time to wait for a seat or time your visit wisely... More

A very busy place at lunch time. Best to arrive by 1130 am or have a late lunch. Food is excellent and I have had great service too.

This place has a lot of vegan type food and some very off the wall items, BUT even though I usually don't go in for that kind of food it's actually quite good. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try something different or wants a lighter meal.

My partner and I had our first date-- an unbelievably wonderful lunch-- at Wild Pear. It has always been my favorite restaurant in Salem. So, of course, I chose them to cater a luncheon for my mother’s 90th birthday party. Behind the catering scenes, everything was arranged by email. I was especially impressed by the way Ms. Greco, the catering... More

We arrived a bit before noon on Saturday. By the time we left, there were 20 people waiting, but worth the wait. Good variety but with a twist (added blue cheese-can't go wrong). I had the chicken, blue cheese and pear pizza-- de-lic-ious. My hubby had the roast beef with blue cheese sandwich, very good. Nice stop for lunch when... More

Someone asks me if I'd like to go to Wild Pear- my answer is yes! They have consistently good food. The menu is inventive. The people who own the place run it well. I may need to go there for lunch today!

In town for work and because my colleague and I skipped lunch we found this place open on a Monday at 4 p.m. for "linner". My colleague had the large Kahlua pork sandwich with wild pear side salad. She said they were both excellent. They had a decent wine selection by the glass. I had the roast beef & blue... More

Wild pear catering my son's wedding in June and we love the job they did. They were really good at coming up with a menu in his budget with the main attraction being chicken enchiladas. Hard to describe how delicious these are but everyone loved them. I have friends who have ordered a pan of this for dinner parties. The... More

Come early or you'll have to wait for a table. That speaks tons about the quality of their food. I enjoy their quiche with a cup of hot tea.

Thank Rick C
