This is the restaurant that you arrive to with plenty of room for dessert. They offer cheese cake, tort, cookies, brownies, and incredible cakes. The flavors are rich and taste bud tantalizing. (I'm getting hungry just writing this.) I live and travel overseas. Few restaurants come close to these tasty cakes! This business offers both meals and desserts. Lunch time... More

A friend and I stopped in yesterday for a bite to eat after the Salem Art Fest. We were hungry, so ordered lunch first before dessert. My friend's vegetarian sandwich on rye bread was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my potato soup with bacon and a warm wheat roll. The 'piece de resistance" was dessert! My friend had coconut cake... More

This restaurant, owned by Oregon icon Gerry Frank, has the most beautiful and tasty cakes for sale. They also serve other food, which is good but not as good as the amazing cakes. Conveniently located on Commercial St S. The Konditorei is clean, airy, and attractive. It's a great place to stop for dessert after a concert.

Just eat the cakes. Don't bother with the food. It's not worth it, but the cake and cheesecake are! That is what they are known for. They should have stuck to baking and let the savories to some place else.

The decor is so cute and makes you feel happy. So many wonderful choices its hard to pick one. No matter what you pick it will be full of flavor & appear almost too pretty to eat. Great place to meet friends and catch up on news. My experience the other night was not the usual friendly & pleasant waitress.... More

My husband and I like to stop here on special occasions after dinner and take home a few slices of cake. We made a stop last week after his birthday dinner. They always have a great selection of cakes and other pastries. We usually intend on getting one slice to share, but have never left with less than two slices... More

Went their for their amazing cakes and cheescskes, which are legendary, decadent and yummy, and decided to order lunch first..... had an wonderful Cobb salad. Loved the fact that the tomatoes were sweet and perfectly ripe as well as the avacodo. Zack the waiter was great too! So eat an amazing (healthy) salad and reward yourself with spectacular cake...or cheescske....... More

Use to enjoy going here occasionally even though it was a bit over priced, but until you get on the gluten free band wagon, I'm done! Come on... this is the 21st century and 20% are gluten intolerant.

Gerry Frank's are really excellent when you want to treat yourself with gourmet cake. They have a wide variety, you are guaranteed to find your preferred indulgence. To top things off, they now also have espresso and other specialized coffees. This is a huge improvement. Friendly staff, easy adequate parking. Intimate atmosphere.

Their menu may have been the same for decades but that is okay. I go to other restaurants when I want more contemporary menu items. I had just been to one of the most talked about patisserie in a megalopolis and enjoyed their desserts but I like simple cakes too.
