We came by here to see what was going on and it is so played out. I was sad. it was empty and smelled bad. lots of trash on the floor, and for an empty bar you would think they would have time to clean up.

Im sure the food may be amazing... I had a friend that had a paper driver's license while he awaited a replacement. The bartender denied him service because she was uneducated as to what a valid ID is. So I'll tab this up to supremely bad service.

I stopped by to sit outside in the sun, sip wine, and work at the table. My server took great care of me, checking in just enough to make sure all was well. She was pleasant and knowledgeable.

The Brick has always been an amazing experience for me and my friends. They have an amazing happy hour followed by a dinner/appetizer special like Taco Tuesday. You can get 2 Tacos and a Corona for an amazing low cost. The crowd is always upbeat and friendly. The staff is amazing and they tend to remember you from a past... More

Nice place to have a beer! We set outside, and it was just nice! Service was friendly, but efficient: our glasses were never empty :) Than we decided to eat, and my ruben sandwich was outstanding!

While the food isn't exceptional -- it's bar food, afterall -- the specials on Happy Hour and nightly deals are worth frequent visits. Even better, start at HH, sit outside, and stay through the nightly specials. See you there!

Met friends here for a light dinner one evening. Food was good and reasonably priced. The server was friendly and service was good. The atmosphere is a little noisy for a quiet combination, but it is a bar and the early evening crowd is mostly in their 20s and 30s. The weather was nice and some people were eating at... More

The Brick in downtown Salem is a decent lunch joint within walking distance of the Salem Convention Center. Average food and wait staff. Nothing special but inexpensive and clean.

Very good beer selection, excellent food, great service, very good prices. Nice decor in an old brick building. What's not to like?
