We had delicious bibimbap and kimchi soup on a day when it was 35F in Oct! The service is friendly and we felt great about supporting a local restaurant during pandemic times. We ate inside, social distanced.

I had not been here in years, then decided to come with friends for a Friday night dinner. It was as good as I remember. My wife did not think she liked Korean food until she tried it here and she loved it as well....We got seated right away and ordered our food quickly. While we waited they brought an assortment of appetizers such as green beans, kimchi, and scallion pancake on the house. Dinner was delcious as well. I had the Dol Sot Bibimbap and my wife had the bulgoghi and they both were excellent. We ordered a sushi roll for the table and it was not necessary as we were so full, but we still ate it because it was delicious. After dinner they brought fresh watermelon slices to the table for dessert, also complimentary. Such a great place. Can't wait to go back.More

We were not greeted by a happy person. This person clearly did not like being there. She also served us. she did not know about the ingredients of the dished and did not speak very good English she was of Hispanic decent. I am Korean,...this was the worst Korean Food I have ever had. And then when I went to the restroom, the door to the restroom was right next to the veterinary clinic. We had bulgoki, no flavor, meat was not shaved rib eye. It was terrible. The kim chee tasted old and it was slimy. Will never return. I know they do a lot of work for the homeless and that's great, but this might be why they have great reviews, because its not for the food or personnelMore

Our very enjoyable meal started with lots of complimentary starting dishes… kimchi, pickled radish, etc. Then seaweed salad, dumplings, and scallion seafood pancake/crepe – the latter being the highlight, great stuff. Followed by bbq short ribs and seafood rice bowl. All great. It appeared people...tend to get takeout here. I suggest dining on the sidewalk is very nice.More

A nice, clean, quiet place to eat in downtown Salem. Huge menu of interesting Korean and Korean-Japanese items. Would be great with a group of fellow diners to share.

A friendly and quiet spot with excellent food and good service. They start you off with hot green onion pancake and 4 toppings and end the meal with half an orange. Noticed a lot of regular customers who obviously were known by the staff. This...is a great place for lunch.More

My husband and I found this place on a whim while trying to figure out where we wanted to go for a low key NYE early dinner. From start to finish it was phenomenal and exactly what we were looking for. It is a low...key establishment with a variery of delicious meal options at affordable prices. The spareribs, while needing to be a teeny bit more tender, were by far the best I have ever had. The sake sushi was fresh and delicious. The fresh orange half at the end was a great way to end the meal. We look forward to our next visit!More

I don't remember anything being specifically identified as gluten free. But there are many dishes that are basically meat, vegetables, and rice. I would guess these were gluten free but there could be gluten in a marinade... More
