The Cielo burrito is the biggest I’ve ever seen. The food was good and our stomachs are still doing fine 24 hours later. The restaurant is family. The young daughter waiter hustles to keep you happy.

We had breakfast at Mi Cielo last Sunday. We loved everything about it! All of the food is prepared from scratch, and great care is taken in the quality of ingredients. Each dish was amazing, and they have some of the best Verde sauce I've...ever had! Alma (she and her husband own and are the sole operators of the restaurant) was so welcoming and friendly, she made the entire experience even better! I can't recommend them highly enough, and we will definitely go back!More

My girlfriend and I were on our way to the airport to go home, but had time for some breakfast. We both agreed that we wanted some delicious, decadent Mexican food before we got back home and got back on our regular healthier diet. Few...places were open, but Mi Cielo was close by, so we called and they were still serving breakfast. We were close so we ended up there five minutes later. It’s in a kind of strip mall with several other restaurants close by, but we wanted some Mexican. The inside was unassuming but clean. We were greeted by the owner Alma who told us to sit wherever we wanted and brought us the menu. The menu had lots of great breakfast dishes to choose from. I, of course, got the breakfast burrito and my girlfriend got the spicy omelet. The burrito was as big as my head and I knew there was no way I was going to eat all of that. I did. It was that freaking amazing. Alma brought out some fresh made salsa and said she had just made 16 quarts of it because it’s so popular. We asked if we could have some chips to try it on its own and she brought us a basket. She told us that neither the beans or the chips, which were home made, used any lard. You couldn’t tell because the beans were creamy and delicious. That was some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. Alma chatted a bit with us because her son lives close by us in Arizona and she was very sweet and accommodating. Sometimes when you find a place like this, you bookmark it and go back each and every time you are craving Mexican food. If we make it back up to Redmond, I can guarantee we’ll be back at least once. Being from Arizona, you would think we would have a place as good as this. If we do, I haven’t found it yet!More

We love Mexican food and eat it everywhere we go. We were disappointed with our two lunches at Mi Cielo in Redmond. First they served us chips and salsa, and the salsa didn't have any "bite" to it. Then I ordered a tamale with sauce...over it and my husband had a burrito. They were both nearly flavorless, too. Service was good but not outstanding, and the prices were high for such mediocre food.More

Today was the third time we’ve been their in the last two weeks! We had good friends that recommended this “Diamond in the rough!” Everything we’ve had has been above expectations, and looking forward in going back to try other menu items! Highly recommend Chile...Verde Burrito, enormous, and delicious! I had their chicken tortilla soup which I am addicted to, and they do a great job! Let them know if you want it on spicier side! I did, and it was really excellent! Today we went back for breakfast on the sons suggestion, that is only served until 11:00am. I had the Huevos Rancheros, and my wife had a good old American chicken fried steak, both were “ out of sight!” We now have our New Mexican hangout! We drive about 35 minutes each way from Bend, and it is well worth it! It’s ran by a father and son which are a great team! Thanks guys, Jim & KittyMore

Our breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back. We had the South of the Border Omelet, sub for slow cooked pork, and the Stino burrito, without the tortilla. They each had half an avocado!

Husband and I stopped in for breakfast, and the pot roast hash was a rare treat! First of all the potato hash is freshly made, not frozen, and the pot roast was plentiful and tender. I will be back.

We read some of the great reviews and decided to stop for lunch. Our first visit here. We were craving some great Mexican food! The place is small and very clean. We were the only customers at 11:30. The service was VERY slow. The server...(owner maybe) told us they had a lot of Take Out orders to fill. So, we ordered and waited. I had a steak tostada for $8.95. When it Finally came it was two small flat tostadas that looked like appetizer ones. Hardly any cheese or tomato on them. I thought it was going to be a nice tostada in a large shell with lots of lettuce, cheese and tomato. So was disappointed in that. The steak was tasty. My husband had the soft pork tacos with rice and beans for $10.95 which he said were good. We also had a Pacifico beer. The server never came back to see if we wanted another beer. We ordered another salsa and she forgot that and only brought one water. I don't think we will be back.More
