To find this place in a secluded area in Portland suburb is amazing....not expecting this when searching for BBQ it took us through suburbs, old town, getto graffiti strewed closed falling down buildings and outside markets, but so happy to find this place. It is busy and full of people so you should call first and make sure they can... More

After having spent several days in Portland, we decided to try a Southern BBQ joint. The wait was not nearly as long as they had told us and we were seated at a table against the wall with a long wooden bench on one side and chairs on the other side. By the time dinner was over, we were wishing... More

My wife and I ordered the pit boss combination to share, added an extra side of chicken, and it was more than enough for the two of us. Food was savory, enjoyed it all, the brisket was excellent, pulled pork and chicken were good, sausage was the weakest link for me (no pun intended). Service was friendly and efficient. We... More

Had the Pit boss platter with the mac & cheese. The brisket was phenomenal! Everything else was really good as well. Highly recommended.

Another trendy place that has been written up in foodie magazines, but personally I find it lacking any real flavors. Just meat and meat, and not much sauce. Usually crowded and over priced and the seating is extremely uncomfortable. Try The coop or Clay's BBQ in SE.

The BBQ beans were a slam dunk! Brisket was a bit fatty, the Lima beans with bacon was a swoosh! Fried catfish left a bit to be desired but the tartar sauce brought it home! A smidge pricey. Definitely plan to go back and try more!!

I had the brisket, but tasted other people's food. It was some of the best bbq I've had. Liked the atmosphere as well.

Here we go! An Excellent rating people! This place has some serious eats! Decided to have dinner. The wait was long however, so worth it! Although the place was packed, the staff was still friendly, courteous and on it! The atmosphere although loud, is fun, and relaxed. Good vibes all around. Then comes the food! Holy Wow of wows! Visited for Sunday dinner as I had heard about the place for years and the one time I tried going, their parking lot was full. They have since moved to new larger quarters and parking was easier to find. The day we went, a band was playing and the place was packed. There was a wait list with no place... More
