People were raving about this place, specifically the chicken and waffles so we had to stop by here on our recent trip. Food was average honestly but the service was good and they allow dogs on their patio so I would try this place again if we're ever back in town.

We arrived for dinner at 4:55 pm; the restaurant opened for dinner at 5:30 pm. They do not take reservations so we knew the wait was inevitable. We were able to sit at the bar and the service, food and staff was great! I had hushpuppies that remind me of the best ones I've ever had down South. I also... More

Get there early (before they open) or you're going to have to wait, but it is absolutely worth it. Fantastic food, unique menu that is perfectly executed. Highly recommend the pimento cheese sausage biscuit and cheese grits, excellent!

Hands down the best brunch I've had in years. The praline bacon was basically dessert, the sausage po-boy was perfection. The fried chicken and waffles looked amazing as it was passing by to other tables.

Indeed, that is what I was told... They have the best fried Chicken and I agree. Great, towny atmosphere, southern comfort food at its best. Don't dress up, don't take out a loan but come hungry.

Food is so good. Always a bit of a wait. Pretty noisy but comfortable place. Parking a challenge. I will go back again and again. Food, drinks and people all rate 5.

Great southern cooking in the great north west. Best fried chicken! Best fried oysters. Main problem can be popularity and lines. Get there when it opens.

The Screen Door was a small but homely feel establishment. I loved the service, food but the best part was the French Quarter 75. Cheers 🍸😊

My cousin's extended family and I had a memorable dinner here. Because there were so many of us, we decided to ALL order something different, then share each item. Every entree and side dish was delicious without exception. And the service was perfection as well. There's a reason people line up in advance to get in! A truly perfect evening....thank... More

Really good food. We all had the plate and got three different sides. Gumbo was thick with a real deep flavor. Pork chop was so crisp on outside and the sauce perfect for the chop. Mac and cheese thick cheese on top and creamy inside. Griddle cakes were huge with loads of corn . Overall of the 9 dishes we... More
