My husband and i really liked this place....would have given 5 stars, but my husband's jamon-wrapped chicken was only so so. The rest, however was wonderful. First of all, staff was very pleasant and attentive. Then we had the most amazing Albaiño ever to drink. The cheese platter was out of sight...lots of unusual and delicious selections, served with tasty... More

My husband and I had a date night and came to Toro Bravo. We decided to get the Chef's Choice since we hadn't been there and couldn't decide. OMG! It was delicious. My favorite was the Spanish Kiss, a olive puree magically made into a pouch then filled with divine olive oil. It is delicate on your tongue then there... More

Excellent food across the board. Very fresh ingredients, great flavors, and lots of options to sample. Service was excellent. The red sangria is delicious. The white sangria was just okay. There is a long wait which is fine as they have standing tables inside and out so you can start your meal while waiting.

In town for some business meetings and this restaurant was recommended. We showed up at 7 pm on a Wednesday evening and they were already packed so we added our names to the waiting list and headed upstairs for some drinks first. Got a call about an hour later advising that our table was ready. They have a very good... More

Toro Bravo is mainly a walk-in restaurant but they do take reservations for parties of 7 to 14, so I had called the day before to make reservations for a group of 10 and had to leave a message since the phone was not picked up. I never received a call that night so I figured that they didn't have... More

Went for a chef's tasting plate that was absolutely TO DIE FOR!!! Everything was fantastic; even the items that I didn't think I would like had a phenomenal flavor. Well-worth the price!

When we come to Portland we go out of our way to go here. The flavors and authentic dishes are amazing! It is small and be prepared for long wait, but it is well worth it! I especially LOVED the octopus appetizer.. YUM! Can't wait to go again!

My nephew who lives in Portland recommended this place. We were visiting Portland. We were a little intimidated with the menu but our waitresses and hostess's were great explaining. The food was awesome! Every bite of every dish! It was a great place to reconnect with my nephew and his girlfriend. Picture is of their one bite. Very unusual and... More

Let me begin by saying that our party of three spent over $250, so it goes without saying that we ordered well. We ended up ordering nine dishes, plus dessert. Ironically, we went for the Paella Tora, but it was probably our least favorite dish of all. On a Monday evening, we had to wait about 30 minutes for a... More

I had to do a seriously brain-bricking double take when I asked Siri to tell me "where is the best place to eat near me right now" as we exited the I-5 N near the convention center. Toro Bravo was first on the list that Siri presented me - and the name, the menu, and the accompanying photos made me... More
