was recommended by our hotel. Great tapas restaurant--every dish we had was wonderful. Its a good thing we don't live in Portland or we'd be overweight from dining there all the time.

Let's start by talking about the 2 hr wait just to get a table. Yes that was 2 hrs and since there is no place to sit while waiting, you stand the whole time. You can order drinks and limited menu items while you wait. The sangria is delicious. Good wine selection. The tapas style of eating is fun and... More

Before the red eye we decided to have one last dinner. We were not disappointed. We sat at the chef's table which was art in motion. I would highly suggest this restaurant. Just go early.

Excellent Spanish food. Having spent considerable time I San Sebastián Spain, this restaurant would fit right in. We arrived at 6 pm on a Tuesday and were seated immediately. The service was top-notch throughout our meal. Friendly and attentive, they explained each dish in great detail. We had the Chef's tasting menu and the cheese board. It was all great.... More

My second time back. The atmosphere still good and the staff outstanding. Food was enjoyable but seemed not as great last time. 3 of the 5 of us came down with apparent food poisoning the next day. We stayed till closing and it was still fun and vibrant there.

Toro bravo is a wonderful restaurant for small plates. Although the wait can be long, we were seated in about 20 minutes. While waiting we had a drink and starter. The four of use shared a variety of small plates including vegan choices and each was better than the previous one. The plates were small but the four of us... More

Having lived in Spain for a number of years I can say that the food at Toro Bravo is very authentic. The dates wrapped in bacon, the tortilla Espanola, and the salt cod fritters are wonderful. The house smoked coppa steak is always a big hit. The wait can be long and the restaurant is loud but the food is... More

My husband and i really liked this place....would have given 5 stars, but my husband's jamon-wrapped chicken was only so so. The rest, however was wonderful. First of all, staff was very pleasant and attentive. Then we had the most amazing Albaiño ever to drink. The cheese platter was out of sight...lots of unusual and delicious selections, served with tasty... More

My husband and I had a date night and came to Toro Bravo. We decided to get the Chef's Choice since we hadn't been there and couldn't decide. OMG! It was delicious. My favorite was the Spanish Kiss, a olive puree magically made into a pouch then filled with divine olive oil. It is delicate on your tongue then there... More

Excellent food across the board. Very fresh ingredients, great flavors, and lots of options to sample. Service was excellent. The red sangria is delicious. The white sangria was just okay. There is a long wait which is fine as they have standing tables inside and out so you can start your meal while waiting.
