Knock your socks off pastrami on rye sandwiches. Can be very crowded during peak hours, so try to visit mid morning or mid afternoon. Be sure to try the pickled veggies with your sandwich.

We wanted a quick late lunch and this was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. When we arrived we were told we would have to wait 5-10 minutes for a table for 2, even though there were empty tables available. We asked if we could sit outside as there were free tables there too, and were told this was... More

Right across the street from our hotel (Mark Spencer) and it was a perfect brunch place. Large portions, wide selection, friendly service.

For a Jewish style deli, this place just doesn't make it. I really wish it did as there are so few delis in Portland that actually have authentic tastes. I had breakfast here and even the eggs were a disappointment.

Had a classic reuben, which was amazing. My son (1,5) had a hot dog from the kids menu which he completely devoured. Was a good quality dog I guess. Bit pricey but very nice sandwiches if you're into the NY style deli. We had a very nice waitress and staff overall was very friendly. The guy behind the counter even... More

I am originally from NY, but consider Kenny and Zuke's to have fair better bagels than any shop in NY. The coffee is STRONG and really good as well....

We had an excellent lunch here enjoying the NY style deli specials. The service was quick and efficient. Would definitely be back!

Maybe it was just a bad morning, but the service was not especially good and we had to call the server back a couple of times as we weren't (and other tables weren't) getting consistent attention. The food was fine, but not quite what we ordered and the wait was longer than it had been on prior visits. We had... More

Tried a couple of dishes for breakfast - pastrami and corned beef hash. The hash was really good but the pastrami disappointing and small serving. Nice atmosphere, but expected better food.

Had heard wonderful stories of this deli. Not quite as good as I anticipated. Service was slow and not very friendly. We had lunch and it was quite usual. Couldn't wait for the pastrami yet it was very dry. Nothing special. may give it another try sometime.
