Ate here because a friend recommended it. While it was okay, not sure it was worthy of their endorsement. Authentic Thai food, but again only okay for my pallet.

The reputation of the Chef and his Restaurant drove us to dine as his Brooklyn NY location early on. So when we actually came West and were in the vicinity of the Mother Ship we had to dine here and there is no comparison. This is the place where history was made. It was a fantastic experience. They have these... More

We have been here a few times over the years and if you don't mind waiting in line and the darkness of the restaurant you should love it. The wings are really great! The food is authentic tasting and not the usual sort of Thai restaurant you come across everywhere. We'll be back for sure.

Be prepared for a line at this trendy Thai/Vietnamese restaurant. The food seems pretty authentic and not westernized for non asians. Spicy, herby, and full of umami. The main dining room is basement-like with few windows, like of dark and dank. The rest of the seating is situated around the house, kind of lean-to, shed-like or tent-like structures not conducive... More

This place has really good food I am not going to say it doesn't. I am glad we went and tried it. Would I wait in line to eat here again? Probably not.

To be frank, this place sucks! I don't mind waiting a few hours for good food, but that's not what you get here. What a huge disappointment this place was! There are much better places in town to try!

We've been going to Pok Pok for many years, and it still impresses us with its creative food. This is not your average Thai restaurant in America--rather it's an excellent Thai restaurant even if it were located in Northern Thailand. For dinner, be prepared for the legendary line/wait, but most people with a creative palate will find it very worth... More

This was by far my favorite place to eat in Portland. SO good. The decor and atmosphere is delightful, service is helpful, attentive and friendly and since my honeymoon 7 years ago in Thailand, this was the first time I'd had Thai food as good as you get in Thailand. We had the fish sauce wings, wow, were they good,... More

We have lucked out though before and gone early and little wait. Its small, fun, spicy, great flavors, great Thai Its a PDX institution on flavor and thai cuisine. Comfy, can get noisy. drinks are pretty good too. I spend more time at Whiskey Soda lounge, same owners across the street.

Ugh, the 2 hour wait was not worth it! Not impressed.😟 All items we ordered were small portions and over priced. The only thing that was pleasing to the pallet was the vodka-lemongrass cocktail, but beware it was $11.
