For years I have been dreaming of the wings I had here on my first visit to Portland. After buying the cookbook, I have come up with a pretty decent version. But I still wanted the original on this visit. They did not disappoint. The rest of our meal didn't measure up but that me be just because the wings... More

It was hard to choose from so many deliciously described choices! Service was great. We had an amazing meal with the wings, and short ribs. Flavor WOW factor! Can't wait to have an excuse to go Portland again!

In the heart of Portland, lies the food culture of Thailand’s tastiest street food. Pok Pok. My family dined at Pok Pok when my relatives from Aspen were in town. We spent the day exploring Portland until our feet ached and stomachs grumbled. My parents drug us to Pok Pok with the promise of delicious and authentic Thai food. The... More

One of the few places I would tell someone to go early to or you will wait a long time. But you can wait at The Whiskey Soda Lounge, also part of Pok Pok. But you must experience the Original at some point. A very rustic type restaurant with the amazing wings, that's what they are famous for. You can... More

Pok Pok is one of those local favorites that must be experienced. Reservations are only available for parties of 6 or more, so plan on visiting the eclectic shops within walking distance while you wait for your table to open up. Put your name in at the hostess station and ask them to send you a text message when your... More

We went for a very late lunch, early dinner and we were able to get a seat within 30 minutes, ample time to walk around the few shops. The host was typical hipster arrogant, sat us at the tarped front area, and the draft and atmosphere was unpleasant so we asked to be seated inside. He rolled his eyes but... More

I want to start by saying that I had a good time and good food but I went on a bad day. (Skip to the next paragraph to bypass the grumpiness) It was cold and windy and I was seated in an outdoor (though slightly protected) balcony. The cold wind went right up my back. I was chastised by the... More

I had the house special chicken plate. It was excellent. Service was good. I will go back and explore the menu more.

Don't accept a table upstairs. There are two small, stuffy spaces with low ceilings. The noise level was so high that we couldn't hear each other talk, spoiling an otherwise good meal. Couldn't wait to get out.

A very fun atmosphere with unique, tasty food. Casual and friendly, even with all the hype. We had the spicy chicken wings. This is a must-try item. And get spicy--it's really not too hot. Then we also had Kaeng Hung Leh a pork dish with rice that you can share for 2. I also tried the lychee vinegar drink. Everything... More
