Stop here today with family members on the way to the airport. We had lunch around 1:30...Staff was friendly. The food was wonderful..Staff was great, friendly, and timely. We started with the ARTICHOKE, SPINACH AND HERB DIP which was some of the best I have had. Everything we had was wonderful...I would love to go back next time, I am in... More

Alameda Brewhouse is definitely a local haunt with its own vibe and personality. I recognize a lot of comments seem to center on some perception of slow or unhappy service, but I'd simply tell the newcomer to the pub that this place has a relaxing atmosphere and keeps in tune with Portland quirkiness. The beer is great and all the... More

We went for dinner on Father's Day so you can imagine that most of the clientele are families. They were not very busy either. The music was disturbingly loud!! There was absolutely no reason to have it so loud. Service was poor. I actually spilled my drink and the server brought me 2 napkins to wipe up my mess with... More

The food is really bad. I could hardly stand it. Nothing was above average. Can't stand the food,or anything, for that matter.

1st time I went here for lunch had a great server and they were pretty quick with the food. This time we went, even though it was on a Sun afternoon, there wasn't a huge crowd there. Took time to get the server to take our order, for our food to come out and to get our check.....although you see... More

We stopped for a beer and then after a few minutes decided to go home. The bartender was rude, impolite and arrogant when my husband told him that we were leaving. We would have probably stayed but he díd not want to server us. He díd not even answer what was their seasonal beer . It was not our first... More

Apparently Portland, OR is known for their restaurants serving up creative mac n' cheese dishes and each one of them is different. Back home in Minnesota, I would call it more of an "attempt at mac n' cheese". They're doing something right at Alameda, but just how good is it? This was easily the best mac n' cheese I've ever... Large list of craft brews. Delicious burger, shrimp taco and burrito. Everything was good. Helpful staff and attentive to all our needs. Not too loud even though there were families and small children.

Went here with family for dinner. My daughter had the crab bisque, which was wonderful. Other family members dinners were mediocre, but edible. I had the crab cakes, which were the worst crab cakes I've ever eaten (or tried to eat). Flavorless grey meat, fried in just this side of rancid oil, sitting in a gelatinous pool of hollandaise sauce.... More
